Leg 1: Phillies ML
The Phillies shouldn’t have anything to worry about regarding their NL East lead, as they are seven games up over the Braves, but this week is everything for the Braves. The Braves have to win this series to get back in the division race, and they have their other NL East rival, the New York Mets, on their tail for the NL’s final wild-card spot. Still, tonight, we trust that the Phillies will get the job done with Zack Wheeler on the mound and the better offense behind them.
Leg 2: Zack Wheeler 7+ Strikeouts
We’re putting a ton of faith in Zack Wheeler tonight to toss a dominant outing, so we’d look for him to rack up the strikeouts. He has recorded at least seven strikeouts in five of his last seven games, so we’ll look for the numbers to pan out in our favor tonight.
Leg 3: Trea Turner 2+ Total Bases
Trea Turner is blazing hot at the plate, so we’ll look for him to record at least two total bases tonight. Over his last four games, he went 10-17 at the plate with an extra-base hit in each game, and he’s done relatively well in his career against Reynaldo Lopez, going 3-8 against him with two extra-base hits.
Leg 4: Nick Castellanos 2+ Total Bases
Nick Castellanos is amidst his best stretch of offensive production this season, so we’re going to milk it as much as possible. He’s recorded at least two total bases in seven of his last 13 games, and he sports a career .314 batting average against Reynaldo Lopez across 35 at-bats. While Lopez has been fantastic for the Braves this season, we hope he is rusty coming off the IL.
Leg 5: Alec Bohm 1+ Hit
We can keep this leg simple, as Alec Bohm has recorded a hit in 18 of his last 19 games. What else is there to ask for?
Leg 6: Marcell Ozuna 1+ Hit
To close out our parlay, we’ll head over to the Braves dugout and back Marcell Ozuna to get us a hit, as he owns a .358 batting average in August with a hit in 11 of his last 12 games.
