1. United States
There's not a lot to say about Team USA that hasn't already been said. Loaded with NBA superstars, Team USA coasted through the group stage with a 3-0 record and dominated in their quarter final clash with Brazil. Things got more difficult in the semi finals against Serbia, but a strong fourth quarterback pushed Team USA to the final.
2. France
With Victor Wembanyama leading the charge for France, there's a lot to like about where this national program is headed moving forward. France pulled off a pair of upsets and now find themselves playing for gold against Team USA.
3. Serbia
With Nikola Jokic leading the charge, Serbia presents a difficult challenge for any team in the elimination round. Although Team USA ultimately came out on top, Serbia exceeded expectations and has a chance to win bronze.
4. Germany
It's fair to say that Team Germany has been a positive surprise in this tournament. Germany lost out on a big opportunity to play for Gold against Team France.
5. Canada
It was a disappointing showing from Team Canada when you factor in their expectations leading into the Olympics. Getting knocked out in the quarter finals against France certainly puts a damper on what was a strong roster.
6. Australia
There's a plethora of NBA talent for Australia at the 2024 Paris Olympics that was on full display. Still, it wasn't enough to qualify for the semi finals.
7. Greece
When you have a talent like Giannis Antetokounmpo on your roster, you're always going to be a threat to do damage. Behind Giannis, there simply wasn't enough depth this year.
8. Brazil
There was no upset in the quarter finals against Team USA for this Brazil squad.

9. Spain
In a difficult group, Spain failed to make a run. They didn't qualify for the quarter-finals, which is a big disappointment when you factor in their expectations.
10. South Sudan
There wasn't a lot going on for South Sudan in Paris. Still, they did manage to pick up a victory in their group, which is certainly something to build on for their national program.
11. Japan
After qualifying for the 2024 Olympics in Paris, Japan found a way to create some offense, but couldn't quite find the defense to make a run.
12. Puerto Rico
The Puerto Rican national team didn't quite have a tournament to remember. They finished with three losses and a -73 point differential.
