7) Dennis Schroder
Dennis Schroder may have gotten the shortest end of the stick for all players during this deadline. The Warriors guard was traded to four different teams in a span of less than 12 hours. The German product finally lands with the Detroit Pistons, but life for Schroder throughout this deadline cycle had to have been a wild ride.

1) Dallas Mavericks
Without a doubt, the Dallas Mavericks came out of the NBA Trade Deadline with the worst deal over the last week. General manager Nico Harrison traded away a 25-year-old generational talent in Luka Doncic for Anthony Davis, a 31-year-old big man who has shown issues over the last few years staying on the court and limits their championship window. The Mavs moved on from a cornerstone, depriving the fans of one of the most beloved athletes in the city who had just led them to the NBA Finals less than a year ago. This move will go down as one of the most confusing deals of the season and potentially the worst deal in NBA history.

2) Milwaukee Bucks
The Milwaukee Bucks made one of the more questionable moves of the trade deadline by sending Khris Middleton to the Washington Wizards in exchange for Kyle Kuzma. Giannis Antetokounmpo was reportedly a driving force behind the Bucks getting this deal done, but it arguably could've been the worst move of the cycle. Milwaukee got younger at the wing position, but they did so by moving on from a key veteran with championship experience for a 29-year-old who has struggled with efficiency his whole career.

3) Chicago Bulls
The Chicago Bulls failed to trade Nikola Vucevic and dealt Zach LaVine without bringing much of anything back to help them with their upcoming rebuild. After dealing LaVine and DeMar DeRozan to the Sacramento Kings in a span of seven months, Chicago failed to land any additional first-round picks. This was a failure for the Bulls' front office.

4) Atlanta Hawks
The Atlanta Hawks shipped away two core pieces, De'Andre Hunter and Bogdan Bogdanovic, at the trade deadline, which makes the team's direction clear. With Trae Young growing increasingly frustrated with the roster construction around him, it wouldn't be shocking if he's the next star who requests to leave his current situation.

5) Memphis Grizzlies
The Memphis Grizzlies dealt multiple players at the deadline, but Marcus Smart stands out. Memphis landed the former DPOY in a blockbuster trade a couple of offseasons ago, and he seemed like he could be the key to helping the team get over the hump. Instead, they offloaded the injured guard and included a first-round pick to do so.

6) Denver Nuggets
The Denver Nuggets made no moves at the deadline, so they landed on this list. Denver has a decent roster, but they don't have enough to make it out of the Western Conference this year. The Nuggets needed to make a move to surround Nikola Jokic with a better-supporting cast, and they had plenty of options. After multiple months of Denver rumored to make a move, the Nuggets stood pat. We'll see if this was a mistake as the postseason approaches quickly.
