And OKC has built their team perfectly. They built through the draft, they signed veterans along the way. They didn't do a Sixers type of tank. Everything seemed to be coming together for them to be dominant forever. And all these draft, they have more draft picks than every other team. It was all set up. Well, all of a sudden, the Spurs last night beat them 1:30 to 110. Now, for you to understand that, if you're not fully locked into the NBA season, for a lot of you, I know it starts tomorrow on Christmas Day is where you really lock in. This is a big deal because the Thunder have 4 losses total to the entire league, but 2 of those losses are to the Spurs, as I just said. Wemby could disrupt this OKC dominance for that was supposed to go on forever and ever. And you kind of see SGA, the reigning MVP, the finals MVP, everything's been going great. Well, all of a sudden, it seems like we saw it in the playing tour in the, in, in the NBC, you know, in the in-season cup, and now we see it again. The Spurs appear to be the kryptonite. For the OKC Thunder, and now you might have a legitimate rivalry with a really young team in OKC and an even younger team in San Antonio that also has their share of picks. They also have the reigning rookie of the Year, by the way, and we just act like we don't pay attention to Castle, but he was the reigning rookie of the Year last year. You have Wemy who was the Rookie of the Year the year. Before that, and you also have a guy who's a contender this year in Harper to be Rookie of the Year this year. This can turn the entire sports world kind of on its head in a way because nothing is promised and OKC looks like a dynasty, but what if they're not? What if the Spurs step up in there and make it to where they're not? And I'm gonna say it right now. If you're talking about a dynasty, historically, you have to get to 3 total titles to be considered a dynasty. They don't have to be a 3-peat. If you win 3 and 5, usually, you know, you go back to back, maybe you can have some years to be considered a dynasty, the, the always, the line has always been, you have to get to at least 3 titles to be considered a dynasty. OK. If you get 3 total within a small amount of time. And obviously some have gone on to more. Jordan's 6 for 6, for example, 6 in 8 years. You've had the Spurs get to 5, you've had the Warriors get to 4. We've seen it. But over the years, we've seen with with dynasties, you have to get to 3. I'm gonna say this right now. With the way the Spurs match up with OKC. And with them being in the same conference, therefore, year after year, they'll have to beat one another in order to even get to the finals, which should make you very happy if you're a Knicks fan, for example, or a Cleveland Cavaliers fan or an Orlando Magic fan in the short term, because you don't have to beat both of them, you only have to beat one of them. But I'm gonna say this right now. OKC is going to get to 2 titles at least before OKC gets to 3. Therefore, that'll now be even footing. I believe that the Spurs are the team of the future, not OKC because I don't believe the ownership's going to spend money. I don't believe that they're going to keep it, keep that team together. They're gonna have to get rid of guys because of the NBA CBA rules with the, with all the stuff that happens. I believe that the Spurs are going to be The team that keeps OKC from being dominant. Not anybody in the East, not anybody else in the West, but those two teams will be not only the best rivalry going forward, I believe in the NBA. I think they're gonna be the the best rivalry period in professional sports. Now, college is different, OK. Ohio State, Michigan. That's probably the top rivalry right now. And maybe we'll get back to Duke and North Carolina and some of those college rivalries, but that's different. But when it comes to the NBA and nay, pro sports, with what happened last night, I believe that this is going to be the dominant rivalry in all of professional sports.
