The college basketball calendar is nearing its apex; happy March Madness! As teams jockey for seeding in conference tournaments and fight for a spot in the upcoming NCAA Tournament, each game has potentially significant implications.

7:00 p.m. ET – Duke at North Carolina State

Spread: Duke (-5.5) | Moneyline: Duke (-235) | Total: 149.5

The Duke Blue Devils appear to be peaking at the right time, winning seven of their past eight games and demolishing Louisville and Virginia at home last week. They are only one game back of North Carolina in the ACC standings and host the Tar Heels this Saturday. For that game to have a share of the conference crown on the line, Duke must win at North Carolina State tonight. The Wolfpack have dropped three out of the past four games and have slipped off the bubble. They need an upset tonight to keep their slim NCAA Tournament hopes alive. 7:30 p.m. ET – South Carolina State at Coppin State

Spread: South Carolina State (-7.5) | Moneyline: SCSU (-300) | Total: OVER 135.5

Where to Watch: ESPN+ | Location: Physical Education Complex in Baltimore, MD

The South Carolina State Bulldogs travel to face Coppin State in MEAC clash on Monday night. South Carolina State is 8-4 in the league on the season, trailing Norfolk State by one game. Coppin State is one of the nation’s worst teams, with a record of only 2-24 and just one conference victory. The SportsGrid model is riding against the Eagles and has five-star projections on the Bulldogs.

The model is projecting a 14.8-point victory for South Carolina State, nearly double the point total of 7.5.
