The Vols have really flown under the radar in this NCAA Tournament, perhaps more than any of the other top seeds in the field. They have quietly taken care of business against Wofford and UCLA to get to this point, where they will face their first real test in an SEC rematch. Tennessee was swept by Kentucky in both regular-season matchups, making this a bit of a tricky handicap. We'll stick with the favorites as Kentucky head coach Mark Pope may be in slightly over his head at this stage of the tournament as Tennessee's defense could cause them some fits.
Ole Miss +3.5 vs. Michigan State

The offensive stalls that can sometimes harp Michigan State make us a bit hesitant to back them. Just a few minutes of poor offensive production put them into a quick double-digit hole against New Mexico, and they were fortunate enough to storm back from the deficit and pull out the victory. Playing with fire like that will eventually burn you, especially against more talented teams later in the tournament. We'll take the points with an Ole Miss team that seems to be playing its best basketball at the perfect time after giving a strong Iowa State team hell for forty minutes last weekend.
Auburn -9 vs. Michigan

We will continue fading Michigan with the intention of their luck eventually running out. The Wolverines have pulled out some miraculous late-game heroics throughout the entire season that have led them to this point, and we see it ending here against their tallest task yet in Auburn. While the Tigers haven't necessarily been the best version of themselves in March, we expect them to rise to the occasion and give Michigan too much to handle for a team that is fortunate to have even reached this point. Lay it with Auburn here.
Houston -8.5 vs. Purdue

The Cougars continue chugging along while everyone pays attention to the other #1 seeds. Winners of 28 of their previous 29 games, there is not enough hyperbole to describe this team's toughness, ability, and winning mentality. They were given the short end of the stick by being forced to face an underseeded Gonzaga team in the Round of 32 and brushed them aside with no issue. We don't see how this Purdue team - who was given a cakewalk to the second weekend by facing a pair of double-digit seeds can keep up with Houston here.
