2:00 p.m. ET – Georgia Tech vs. Notre Dame

Spread: Notre Dame (-1.5) | Moneyline: Notre Dame (-120) | Total: 130.5

Where to Watch: ACC Network | Location: Capital One Arena in Washington, DC

College Basketball Links: March Madness Bracketology | Bracketology | B1G Teirs: Who’s In, Who’s Out

The ACC Tournament gets underway on Tuesday as the league’s bottom six squads kick off the action in first-round matchups. The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets stumbled to the 12-seed and will take on the 13th-seeded Notre Dame Fighting Irish. The winner will advance to play the Wake Forest Demon Deacons tomorrow afternoon.

The SportsGrid model is taking the Fighting Irish on the moneyline in this game, projecting a win 60% of the time for Notre Dame. With the moneyline set at -120, that is strong enough value to have this as a three-star projection. These two teams played a month ago, with Notre Dame prevailing 58-55 in South Bend. Markus Burton leads the Fighting Irish, averaging 17.3 points per game. The freshman from northern Indiana leads the Irish in points per game, field goal percentage, and assists per game, and slowing him down will be the key for the Yellow Jackets.

SportsGrid’s Best Bets: Notre Dame (-120) | SportsGrid Projections: 3-stars

There are no games that the SportsGrid model lists with five-star projections, and no other games are above a three-star projection.
