Week 15 - Liberty Flames 35 - Western Kentucky Hilltoppers 28
If everything goes as anticipated, championship weekend would pit the Flames against the Hilltoppers for the C-USA championship.
Western Kentucky will have thrown everything they can at Liberty in Week 13, and the Flames will have made the necessary adjustments. As a result, they successfully defend the belt, salvaging a more notable bowl game berth.
Week 9 - Liberty Flames 42 - Kennesaw State Owls 0
Whatever you think the spread should be, double it. The undefeated Liberty Flames travel to take on the winless Kennesaw State Owls in Week 9. Assuredly, Liberty's perfect record will remain intact following this conference showdown.
Kennesaw State has been severely outmatched in his first season in the FBS. The Owls have lost six straight games to open the season, failing to record more than 16 points in all but one of their games. In the only contest where they exceeded 16 points, they lost 63-24 to the Jacksonville State Gamecocks.
Liberty should trounce the Owls, easily covering the -24.5 spread.

Week 10 - Jacksonville State Gamecocks 30 - Liberty Flames 35
Defense won't even be a consideration when the Flames host the Gamecocks in Week 10.
Jacksonville State hasn't recorded fewer than 34 points in their past four outings. Likewise, Liberty has gone north of 28 in all five of their games this season. Still, their defense is substantially more effective than the Gamecocks, giving up nearly 100 fewer yards and more than ten fewer points per game.
Liberty builds an early lead, but Jacksonville State pulls closer in garbage time.
Week 11 - Liberty Flames 24 - Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders 10
The Flames will finally meet their defensive match in Week 11. While the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders have been underwhelming offensively, they should be able to limit Liberty's attack on the road.
Middle Tennessee has already put forth some solid defensive efforts. Playing on the road, they held the surging Memphis Tigers to 24 points. Likewise, the Duke Blue Devils could only muster 340 yards of total offense in their Week 4 matchup against the Blue Raiders.
This will be a relatively subdued effort, but Middle Tennessee won't do enough offensively to keep pace.
Week 12 - UMass Minutemen 3 - Liberty Flames 35
As with every team that schedules a game against the UMass Minutemen, this is nothing more than a chance for Liberty to pad their win total.
There's an argument to be made that UMass doesn't even belong in the FBS anymore. The Minutemen have just seven wins across their past six seasons, eclipsing one win just once over that stretch. As inferred, that means they've had a winless season along the way.
Already with a win to their name, the rest of the schedule is just a formality for UMass. Liberty cruises.

Week 13 - Western Kentucky Hilltoppers 42 - Liberty Flames 39
The Flames' 22-game regular season win streak ends in Week 13. The Western Kentucky Hilltoppers have asserted themselves as a C-USA contender, and we predict they will be too much for Liberty to handle.
Western Kentucky's losses came to Power Four schools: a 63-0 defeat at the hands of the mighty Alabama Crimson Tide and a heartbreaking 21-20 loss to the Boston College Eagles. Otherwise, the Hilltoppers are 5-0 with two upset victories against the Toledo Rockets and Sam Houston Bearkats.
Liberty hasn't matched last season's energy, going just 1-4 against the spread. This game will take them out of the College Football Playoff running.
Week 14 - Liberty Flames 21 - Sam Houston Bearkats 28
Liberty hasn't been tasked with bouncing back after a crushing defeat since 2022, so we expect them to respond poorly against the Bearkats in Week 14.
Sam Houston has an elite offense that will cause issues for the Flames. Granted, their defense hasn't always met expectations, but we expect the Bearkats to be ready to defend home turf.
Thankfully, the Flames could already have a C-USA Championship Game berth locked up. As such, they can survive the loss and still defend their title in Week 15.
