Florida vs Georgia Best Bet ATS: Bulldogs -16.5 (-110)
The Georgia Bulldogs this matchup as more than a two-touchdown favorite. The last time we saw the Bulldogs take the field, they played a solid defensive game and locked down a powerful team in Texas. It will be interesting to see how Carson Beck manages the game with his turnovers racking up more of late. As much as the Gators’ offense has improved, this will be a significant test against a hungry Bulldogs front on defense.
Florida vs Georgia Best Bet Total: UNDER 52.5 (-110)
Coming off their strong effort against Texas and a bye, the Bulldogs gave us a glimpse of why they boast one of the best defenses in the country. Although the same can’t be said for the Gators, there’s been some positive momentum for them, and Georgia’s offense hasn’t exactly lit the world on fire. I suspect Georgia will want another run-heavy approach, which could slow down the pace in Jacksonville. A common theme for the Bulldogs has been staying under the total over the last year. Nine of their last 13 games have gone under the number, which coincides with how this team wants to play. The rivalry factor should have these teams amped up, and I envision both defenses starting on time.
Florida vs Georgia Best Player Props
Georgia Bulldogs Running Back Trevor Etienne OVER 79.5 Rushing Yards (-114)
One thing that’s become clear this season is that when the Bulldogs have found offensive success, it’s mainly because their ground attack plays a significant role in putting together a consistent output. This is a revenge spot for Trevor Etienne, who transferred to Georgia from Florida this offseason. Etienne has rushed for 80 or more yards in two of his last three games. With Georgia projected as a big favorite, Etienne has the game script to be used in a big way. His explosiveness is something his former team knows well, and it should be present Saturday afternoon.
