10) S Xavier Williams, Middle Tennessee
Xavier Williams was a three-star recruit as a quarterback in the 2021 class. The dual-threat quarterback never received an opportunity to play under center and instead switched to safety. Williams could find a role at his new position elsewhere after his impressive season.

1) WR Mikey Matthews, California
Mikey Matthews initially committed to Utah as a four-star recruit before transferring to California last offseason. Hoping for a more prominent role with the Golden Bears, the wideout only managed to rack up 32 receptions for 272 receiving yards and a touchdown. Now, he lands in the portal again.
2) DL Jayson Jenkins, Tennessee
Jayson Jenkins has spent three seasons at Tennessee, where he's had little opportunity to showcase how impactful he can be on the field. Across three years of play, the sophomore has racked up 15 total tackles, two sacks, and one forced fumble. Nonetheless, he has the talent to develop into a game-wrecker in the right system.
3) TE Riley Williams, Miami
Riley Williams committed to Miami as one of the top tight ends in his respective class. However, in two seasons, the talented pass catcher has yet to develop into the player he was recruited to be. This seems to be more due to a lack of opportunity than talent. Williams could flourish with a fresh start.
4) RB Rickey Hunt Jr., Ohio
Rickey Hunt Jr. has played two seasons for the Ohio Bobcats where he's totaled 527 rushing yards and six touchdowns, while averaging 5.3 yards per carry. The running back enters the portal looking for a more significant role with a competitive program. Considering what he's put on tape, he'll likely have plenty of suitors.
5) WR Marcus Burke, Florida
Marcus Burke committed to Florida as a four-star recruit out of high school. In four seasons with the Gators, the wide receiver has yet to exceed the 100-yard mark in a season, let alone a game. The talent is there, but he's yet to put it all together. Perhaps a change of scenery could do it for him.
6) DL Keanu Tanuvasa, Utah
Keanu Tanuvasa has spent three seasons at Utah, showing flashes of his ability to be a disrupter on the defensive line. The six-foot-four defensive tackle has the tools to be a solid depth piece in the trenches. Expect him to find a new team quickly with multiple years of eligibility remaining.
7) WR Otto Tia, Utah State
Otto Tia has spent three seasons at Utah State where he emerged as a viable pass catcher this past season for the Aggies. The wideout finished the season with 434 receiving yards and seven touchdowns in an increased role. Looking to build on his career year, Tia enters the portal.
8) S C.J. Johnson, Auburn
C.J. Johnson committed to Auburn as a three-star prospect out of high school. The athletic safety has the tools to be an absolute ball hawk, but he wasn't allowed to make much impact on the field in his freshman season with the Tigers. Now, Johnson hits the portal, hoping to crack the rotation elsewhere.
9) DL Lavon Johnson, Maryland
Lavon Johnson committed to Maryland as a three-star recruit. Over the last couple of seasons, the defensive lineman has shown flashes as a run-stopper and pass-rusher. However, the Pennsylvania native has yet to find a sizable role with the Terrapins. As a result, he hits the portal, hoping to find a more prominent role with his new team.
