1. Missouri Tigers

The Tigers needed a new quarterback heading into 2025, and it's become clear they'll be active in the transfer portal. This has become a coveted landing spot for a quarterback. With some returning players on the offensive line, this is a great landing spot for Conner Weigman's upside and talent. Can Eli Drinkwitz land another big fish in the portal?

2. Louisville Cardinals

There's been at least some positive direction from the Louisville Cardinals under head coach Jeff Brohm. With a new quarterback needed for the Cardinals, Conner Weigman checks many of the boxes Louisville will covet. With an offensive-minded head coach in Brohm, you can understand why a talent like Weigman would at least entertain the possibility of playing for the Cardinals.

3. Wisconsin Badgers

It's about time the Wisconsin Badgers make a run toward a quarterback with genuine upside. We know this program has a strong defensive base at its core, but adding offense is the only way they can become more than a mediocre team in the Big Ten. With a schedule that doesn't scare anyone entering 2025, Conner Weigman could make some noise with the Badgers. 

4. Syracuse Orange

With how the Syracuse Orange ended the regular season in 2024, you have to expect they'll be a landing spot that's considered for some of the top options in the portal. Head coach Fran Brown did impeccably in Year 1, leading the Orange to a 9-3 record. If he can land another top quarterback option in the portal, the Orange can replicate that in the ACC and potentially even take another step forward. 

5. Iowa Hawkeyes

We know that the Iowa Hawkeyes are a defensive juggernaut every year. In saying that, early reports suggest the Hawkeyes could be a fit for Conner Weigman in the transfer portal. Weigman would give the Hawkeyes the most upside they've had at the position in recent memory. Although it feels like a question mark because of the style this team is known for, Weigman could be the missing piece in Iowa.
