Anytime Touchdown Bets You Need to Place for NFL Week 15

DeAndre Hopkins (+240)
The Kansas City Chiefs have been in a rut all season, and they continually win games by the skin of their teeth week after week. They’ll face the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, and this is a spot where the Chiefs could very well get into a high-scoring battle as Jameis Winston wants to put up points. I expect the Chiefs to near the 30-point mark, opening up a ton of value for DeAndre Hopkins to find the endzone as he’s scored four times across six games with the Chiefs and has emerged as a top red zone threat. With a price as high as +240, the value is too good for us to look past.
Tyreek Hill (+135)
The Miami Dolphins are making a run at an AFC Wild Card spot, and they’ve been on a roll, winning four of their last five games. They’ll hit the road this week to face the Houston Texans in what could be a high-scoring game, and we can get Tyreek Hill at +135 to find the endzone. Hill has scored in four of the last five weeks, and the Texans’ secondary has allowed the second-most touchdowns in the league to opposing wide receivers. At +135, we won’t get a better spot to back the Cheetah than this.
Davante Adams (+125)
The New York Jets season may already be in the toilet, but as of right now, Aaron Rodgers is playing for pride and to prove he’s still a capable starting quarterback in this league. Even in last week’s loss, he looked pretty solid, with much of his volume going toward Davante Adams, who finished with 109 yards off of nine receptions and a touchdown. I expect Adams to see a similar volume as last week, with Rodgers still looking to light it up, and he’ll have an excellent opportunity to put up some numbers against a weak Jacksonville Jaguars defense. At +125, there is plenty of value to be had here to back Adams to score.
Calvin Ridley (+160)
Putting faith in the Tennessee Titans’ offense doesn’t feel wise, but the Cincinnati Bengals’ defense might be even worse than whatever product the Titans put on the field. Calvin Ridley can tear it up whenever he gets the ball enough, and the Bengals don’t have anyone in their secondary capable of stopping him. At +160, we hope Will Levis can get Ridley a catchable ball and let him do the rest.
Trey McBride (+170)
Trey McBride has been a machine all season and has been one of the league’s most productive tight ends with 80 receptions and 851 receiving yards, but he’s failed to find the endzone. It’s not like the volume because he still ranks near the top of the league in red-zone targets among tight ends, yet things aren’t breaking his way near the goal line, especially. At +170, the volume is there for McBride to find the endzone sooner than later, as he’s combined for 41 targets across the past three weeks. He’s due for some positive regression in a big way!
Josh Allen (+120)
We may have the best game of the season on Sunday afternoon as the Buffalo Bills and Detroit Lions are set to square off in the Motor City, and the total is a staggering 54.5. Touchdowns will be traded non-stop, and we can get Josh Allen at +120, who just ran for three touchdowns last week and scored a rushing touchdown in four straight weeks. Enough said!
AJ Brown (+150)
If you haven’t been following the drama in Philadelphia, Brandon Graham put some locker-room drama on blast on Monday by claiming that AJ Brown and Jalen Hurts have a poor relationship. While everyone has denied the allegations and Graham himself has “cleaned up” what he said, a bit of animosity still needs to be fixed. What better way to heal wounds than with a touchdown? Hurts and the Eagles will make it a point to get Brown involved early and often, and at +150, the price for him to score is too good for me to look past. Even if there wasn’t drama, getting a wide receiver as good as AJ Brown at +150 would be a great value. Now, the extra motivation will give us extra assurance.
