Bengals vs Chiefs Best Bet ATS: Bengals +5.5 (-110)
We’re still waiting for the real Cincinnati Bengals to show up after a Week 1 dud against the lowly New England Patriots. If the Bengals can’t get up for a matchup against the two-time defending champs in Week 2 on the road, they might be in big trouble this season. Joe Burrow didn’t look like a quarterback ready to duel with Patrick Mahomes in Week 1. Burrow is quietly 3-1 against Mahomes and company through his young career, and this has been a matchup he’s been comfortable in. Although we’re not confident enough in the Bengals as a unit to pick them outright here, there’s certainly merit in backing them to cover the number. Buying some points to get this spread to a touchdown isn’t the worst idea, especially if you put this as a leg in a parlay.
Bengals vs Chiefs Best Bet Total: UNDER 47.5 (-105)
The Chiefs’ defense continues to age like fine wine under Steve Spagnuolo. Even though they allowed 20 points in Week 1 to Baltimore, there were a lot of positives to take from that showing defensively for Kansas City. In 16 of their last 20 home games, the total has gone under the number. Although we have some legitimate question marks about the Bengals defensively, they’ve typically found a way to show up in these big games. After a disappointing home opener in Week 1, it’s not hard to see this as a prime bounce-back opportunity on both sides of the football. We know what the Chiefs are capable of defensively, and the Bengals should do enough to keep this under the number on Sunday afternoon.

Ja’Marr Chase OVER 71.5 Receiving Yards (-114)
Whenever a receiver with the talent of Ja’Marr Chase has a post-game session with the media like he did after Week 1, it’s hard to imagine he won’t put up a big game in this crucial matchup. In three games against the Chiefs, Chase has recorded 404 receiving yards. Yes, that number is skewed by a monstrous 266-yard performance in 2022, but he has another 97-yard effort against this same unit. Chase will be fed with targets in this matchup if the Bengals hope to silence the home crowd and keep this game close. This is a pretty modest number for Chase to be listed at, and we’re very comfortable in backing him to go over it.
