Lions vs Texans SNF: 6 Favorite NFL Anytime Touchdown Best Bets

We have an exciting Sunday Night Football showdown set for tonight as the Houston Texans are set to hose the Detroit Lions, so here are our top touchdown props for what should be exciting, high-scoring action.
How to Approach Joe Mixon (-170)
Joe Mixon is the overwhelming favorite to find the endzone tonight at -170, so even though we don’t want to bet him straight up at that price, we need to find a way to get some action in on him, given how dominant he’s been. In five full games, Mixon has combined for seven touchdowns and enters tonight after three consecutive games with at least 24 carries and 100 yards. The Texans are expected to be playing from behind, which could cap some of Mixon’s overall upside, but he’s been such an integral part of the Texans’ offensive approach that I can’t go away from him tonight. For a -105 parlay, expect him to run for at least 60 yards with a touchdown.
David Montgomery (-130) or Jahmyr Gibbs (-120)?
David Montgomery has seven touchdowns on the season, and Jahmyr Gibbs has eight touchdowns. So, frankly, you may benefit from parlaying both guys to find the endzone for a +250 bet. If we had to choose one, it would always be Montgomery for us as he always is the safer bet for getting the goal-line work. We almost need to be “lucky" to get Gibbs in the endzone, even though he’s been plenty lucky this season with his eight scores. If you’re uncomfortable laying the -130 on Montgomery, parlay him to also run for 40 yards for a +120 bet.

Back from Injury: Nico Collins (+120)
After a month-long absence, Nico Collins is expected to be back on the field for the Texans, and we can immediately expect him to be a major contributor, given the Texans’ struggles moving the ball through the air in recent weeks. At +145, at home, in prime time, Nico Collins is more than live to find the endzone tonight at a price we didn’t see before his injury. Despite the Lions’ overall success, they’re vulnerable in the secondary against elite passing offenses, so I don’t expect Collins to have any issues. The Texans will need to air the ball out tonight plenty to pull off the win, so at +145, I’ll confidently expect Collins to find the endzone.
Must Bet: Amon-Ra St. Brown (+115)
At +115, I don’t know how someone doesn’t bet on Amon-Ra St. Brown to score a touchdown tonight. He’s caught a touchdown in six straight weeks leading into tonight, and we have no reason to expect tonight’s game to be low-scoring. Sometimes, you’re better off betting the things that just make sense, and this one appears to be a near guarantee.
Fade: Tank Dell (+120)
Tank Dell is priced at +120 to score a touchdown, and I can’t see any reason to bet him at that price. That price takes into consideration the possibility that Nico Collins will be ruled out tonight despite being activated off of IR, but regardless, I can’t see any value in taking him tonight should that number stay put. When healthy, this offense is all about the one-two punch of Mixon on the ground and Collins through the air, leaving Dell on the outside looking in. If this prop stays at +120, there is no value to be had here, but should it move to around +200, it would be worth a sprinkle given the potential high-scoring nature of tonight’s game.
Sam LaPorta (+230) or Jameson Williams (+240)?
Gibbs, Montgomery, and St. Brown are the featured pieces of this Lions’ offense, but is there any value to be had in Sam LaPorta or Jameson Williams? Looking at LaPorta’s potential, it hasn’t been a secret that his production has been down across the board, but now he faces a Texans’ defense that’s allowed the fewest receptions to opposing tight ends, just 24 across nine games. At +230, I can’t see any value in him catching a touchdown knowing that. Regarding Jameson Williams, he returns after a two-game suspension tonight. While the prospects of a bounce-back game are intriguing, I would much rather parlay St. Brown with one of Gibbs or Montgomery for roughly a +300 touchdown parlay.
