16) New Orleans Saints
After a nightmare offseason, the New Orleans Saints may have replaced the Panthers at the bottom of the NFC. NOLA hired Kellen Moore to be their new head coach after firing Dennis Allen after yet another lackluster season. However, Moore arrives at a Saints team that may have the worst quarterback situation in the NFL, especially after losing Derek Carr, who retired this offseason after a career-ending shoulder injury. Looking ahead to next season, it's hard to imagine the Saints finding much success.

New Orleans Saints Super Bowl Odds: +40000

1) Philadelphia Eagles
Coming off a Super Bowl win, it's hard to look away from the momentum the Philadelphia Eagles have entering this season. With the offensive core remaining intact, plus multiple solid additions to the defensive unit through the NFL Draft, Howie Roseman has put his team in position to make a run at a championship once again in 2025. With abundant talent on both sides of the ball, Philly comes in at No. 1.

Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl Odds: +750
NFL ESPN's FPI Metric: 5.3
Regular Season 11.5 Win Total: +115 OVER | -135 UNDER
2) Detroit Lions
The Detroit Lions dropped the ball in arguably their biggest game of the season last year. However, while the end to their run was obviously a disappointment, it doesn't take away from the franchise's historic regular-season run, which posted a 15-2 record. Things will be different without offensive guru Ben Johnson in the Motor City, but there's no doubt that the Lions will be a force to be reckoned with next season.
Detroit Lions NFC Championship Odds: +500
Detroit Lions Super Bowl Odds: +1000
NFL ESPN's FPI Metric: 4.7
Regular Season 10.5 Win Total: +105 OVER | -125 UNDER
8) Los Angeles Rams
The Los Angeles Rams and Sean McVay bounced back in 2024 and seemed like a team that could have made a deep run in the postseason last season. Los Angeles made changes this offseason, including Cooper Kupp's departure and Davante Adams's addition. If all goes well, the Rams could be a dark horse team to monitor in the NFC, especially if their young defense can finally turn the corner.
Los Angeles Rams NFC Championship Odds: +900
Los Angeles Rams Super Bowl Odds: +1800
NFL ESPN's FPI Metric: 1.7
Regular Season 9.5 Win Total: -135 OVER | +115 UNDER
7) San Francisco 49ers
The San Francisco 49ers regressed significantly last offseason, but their struggles throughout their 7-10 season were due to injuries. Heading into 2025, the Niners hope to put the injury bug in the past and prove that they still belong in conversations at the top of the NFC. They have the talent to do so, and we'll see if John Lynch was right to stand pat and avoid making significant moves to the roster this offseason.
San Francisco 49ers NFC Championship Odds: +950
San Francisco 49ers Super Bowl Odds: +2000
NFL ESPN's FPI Metric: 1.3
Regular Season 10.5 Win Total: -110 OVER | -110 UNDER
3) Green Bay Packers
This may come as a surprise to many people having the Green Bay Packers this high on the list, but with the talent on their roster, it won't be a surprise if we see the Packers competing for a spot in the Super Bowl come next January. Matt LaFleur has all the necessary pieces to the puzzle, and if things come together the way Green Bay envisions, they could be in the conversation in 2025.
Green Bay Packers NFC Championship Odds: +1000
Green Bay Packers Super Bowl Odds: +2200
NFL ESPN's FPI Metric: 2.4
Regular Season 9.5 Win Total: +105 OVER | -125 UNDER
4) Washington Commanders
The Washington Commanders took the league by storm last season in year one of the Dan Quinn and Jayden Daniels era. Coming off an NFC Championship appearance, general manager Adam Peters remained aggressive in the offseason adding talent to the roster hoping his team can get back to that point next season and potentially over the hump. We'll see if last season was a fluke for the new-look Commanders, but as of now, all signs point to them being in the mix for the foreseeable future.
Washington Commanders NFC Championship Odds: +1000
Washington Commanders Super Bowl Odds: +1800
NFL ESPN's FPI Metric: 2.8
Regular Season 9.5 Win Total: -110 OVER | -110 UNDER
6) Minnesota Vikings
The Minnesota Vikings defied all odds with a very successful season in 2024, finishing with a 14-3 record in Year 1 without Kirk Cousins. Heading into 2025, you may think Kevin O'Connell's squad should be higher on this list. Still, after losing their starting quarterback in free agency, it's difficult to put stock in the Vikings until we see what J.J. McCarthy can do under center in what will essentially be his rookie season. If all things go well, Minnesota could skyrocket up this list, but it now lands at No. 6.
Minnesota Vikings NFC Championship Odds: +1100
Minnesota Vikings Super Bowl Odds: +2200
NFL ESPN's FPI Metric: 0.8
Regular Season 8.5 Win Total: -135 OVER | +115 UNDER
10) Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were quietly one of the most exciting teams to watch last season with their explosive offense. The Bucs roster mostly stayed the same, but they lost offensive coordinator Liam Coen in one of the most bizarre offseason situations. Regardless, in a weak NFC South division, Tampa Bay is arguably the team to beat in the division heading into next year.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers NFC Championship Odds: +1300
Tampa Bay Buccaneers Super Bowl Odds: +2900
NFL ESPN's FPI Metric: 0.9
Regular Season 9.5 Win Total: +100 OVER | -120 UNDER
5) Dallas Cowboys
The Dallas Cowboys were one of the biggest disappointments in the league last season. Not only did the offense look disastrous at times before Dak Prescott's season-ending injury, but their defense put together countless nightmare performances. Heading into 2025, it's hard to put faith in Dallas, a team that seems confident every season. However, it's also hard to overlook the talent on the roster at the same time. We'll see if Brian Schottenheimer can get the train back on the tracks and put the Cowboys back on top in the NFC East.
Dallas Cowboys NFC Championship Odds: +2000
Dallas Cowboys Super Bowl Odds: +3700
NFL ESPN's FPI Metric: -0.0
Regular Season 7.5 Win Total: -140 OVER | +120 UNDER
9) Chicago Bears
The Chicago Bears started last season strong, but everything went downhill at once, ending in the firing of head coach Matt Eberflus. Throughout all the struggles, the Bears seemingly found the light at the end of the tunnel, hiring one of the most coveted head coaching candidates in the NFL, Ben Johnson. It's yet to be seen what the offensive-minded coach can do as a team leader, but if anyone can get the Bears out of poverty, all signs point to Johnson being that guy. Chicago's roster is undoubtedly talented enough to be in the mix, but they must translate the talent to production.
Chicago Bears NFC Championship Odds: +2100
Chicago Bears Super Bowl Odds: +4400
NFL ESPN's FPI Metric: 0.4
Regular Season 8.5 Win Total: +130 OVER | -155 UNDER
12) Arizona Cardinals
The Arizona Cardinals are undergoing a bit of a reset, and while they're not considered contenders in the NFC, they managed to stay competitive last season. Arizona's roster isn't the most talented in the conference, but Jonathan Gannon has found a way to make his team buy in and play hard every week. Will they represent the conference in the Super Bowl in 2025? Unlikely. Will they pull off an upset or two throughout the season? Probably so.
Arizona Cardinals NFC Championship Odds: +2100
Arizona Cardinals Super Bowl Odds: +4500
NFL ESPN's FPI Metric: -0.9
Regular Season 8.5 Win Total: -115 OVER | -105 UNDER
11) Atlanta Falcons
Heading into the season with Michael Penix Jr. set as the starting quarterback could be a huge pro for Raheem Morris and the Atlanta Falcons, considering the quarterback controversy they dealt with last season. The Falcons put together a talented roster that can compete, but minor errors kept them from being crowned the NFC South division champs last offseason. However, as mentioned above, the division is more than winnable, and perhaps ATL will be in the conversation this season if they can fix some of their 2024 inconsistencies.
Atlanta Falcons NFC Championship Odds: +2600
Atlanta Falcons Super Bowl Odds: +6000
NFL ESPN's FPI Metric: -2.7
Regular Season 7.5 Win Total: -130 OVER | +110 UNDER
13) Seattle Seahawks
The Seattle Seahawks opted to move on from Geno Smith this offseason, and in return, they signed Sam Darnold in free agency. In addition to the departure from Smith, they also traded away their top receiving option in DK Metcalf and released longtime wideout Tyler Lockett. Seattle's roster will look completely different in 2025, and its success will be heavily tied to the quarterback play of Darnold.
Seattle Seahawks NFC Championship Odds: +2700
Seattle Seahawks Super Bowl Odds: +5500
NFL ESPN's FPI Metric: -1.4
Regular Season 7.5 Win Total: -130 OVER | +110 UNDER
15) Carolina Panthers
The Carolina Panthers have seemingly been at the bottom of the NFC and the NFL for nearly the last decade. Last season was another roller coaster ride for the organization and their fanbase, but along the ride, the team finally seemed to find some hope in Bryce Young. As a result, the team added some talent to the roster that could allow them to take a step forward in 2025, though it won't be a significant step by any means.
Carolina Panthers NFC Championship Odds: +4600
Carolina Panthers Super Bowl Odds: +11000
NFL ESPN's FPI Metric: -4.0
Regular Season 6.5 Win Total: -140 OVER | +120 UNDER
14) New York Giants
The New York Giants desperately hope to claw their way out of the bottom of the NFC. To do so, Joe Schoen understands that finding his quarterback for the future is step one in doing precisely that. As a result, the Giants added three quarterbacks to the roster, including an aggressive trade up to land Jaxson Dart in the back half of the first round in the NFL Draft. New York has a long road to return to its glory days, but it seems to be finally taking steps in the right direction.
New York Giants NFC Championship Odds: +12000
New York Giants Super Bowl Odds: +23000
NFL ESPN's FPI Metric: -3.8
