The defending Super Bowl champions found a way in ugly fashion last night to defeat the Packers on the road 107, after Green Bay attempted a 64-yard game-winning field goal as time expired. Sunday night's game against the Lions could potentially go for the top spot in next week's updated power rankings, but as of now, the crown has yet to be taken from them.

The Los Angeles Rams have been essentially dismantling teams over the past month. Their last performance was going on the road to San Francisco and defeating the 49ers by two possessions, 42-26. They can beat you with defense, they can beat you with offense, and they can out-coach you. The Rams sit as potentially the most complete team in the NFL.
#3 Detroit Lions
The Detroit Lions responded nicely after their loss to the Vikings two weeks prior, defeating the Commanders 44-22 in a rematch of last year's NFC divisional round. They currently sit tied with the Bears for the top spot in the NFC North, with the Packers trailing by a half game. The Lions have a chance to make a statement atop the NFC next Sunday night as they take on the Eagles.
#4 New England Patriots
The New England Patriots are becoming more undeniable each week. For all the talk about their light schedule, they went on the road this past Sunday and defeated the NFC South-leading Buccaneers, extending their winning streak to seven. Expect them to potentially extend this streak all the way up until their Week 15 contest against the Bills.
#5 Denver Broncos
By the skin of their teeth, the Denver Broncos extended their winning streak to seven, with a 10-7 win over the Raiders at home. They currently lead the Chargers by one game in the division, as they just keep finding ways to win, whether it's a shootout or a defensive slugfest. Sitting tied with the AFC's best record, they will have a true litmus test this upcoming week against the Chiefs.
#6 Seattle Seahawks
The Vikings may just be regretting not bringing back Sam Darnold after last season, as he continues to look like an MVP candidate with the Seattle Seahawks. Seattle absolutely dominated the Cardinals with a 38-point performance in the first half. Klint Kubiak will not be long for the offensive coordinator job if the offense continues to look like this. He will be one of the top head coaching candidates in this next cycle.
#7 Indianapolis Colts
The Indianapolis Colts were able to avoid disaster in Germany on Sunday morning as Daniel Jones led a drive down the field in the final minutes of overtime, shaving off the Falcons 25-22. Jonathan Taylor continues to run away with the offensive player of the year award each passing week, as he coasted to another casual 244 yards and three touchdowns in Indy's victory. The Colts are tied with the Patriots and Broncos for the best record in the AFC at 8-2.
#8 Los Angeles Chargers
Defensive Coordinator Jesse Minter further strengthened his case to become a head coach after the season, following Sunday Night's 25-10 victory over the Steelers, in which his defense held Aaron Rodgers to 161 yards through the air. Los Angeles sits just one game back in the division at 7-3. If the defense continues to find its stride, the Chargers will be a tough out in the AFC playoffs.
#9 Buffalo Bills
Coming off their worst loss of the season this past Sunday, the Bills now sit in second place in the AFC East and are in danger of losing the division for the first time since 2019. Sunday's 30-13 loss at the hands of the Dolphins might be just the wake-up call this Buffalo team needs going forward, as they hang at No. 9 in the power rankings for now.
