As the Bucs offense returns to full health in the coming weeks, Mayfield's play will only improve, and for that, he slots in at No. 10.

1) Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams
Matthew Stafford seemingly came back down to earth a bit in the team's upset loss to the Panthers on Sunday. Tossing a pair of interceptions along with a couple of touchdowns, the MVP frontrunner's early struggles to start this matchup put his team in a challenging position to overcome. Regardless, there's no doubt that Stafford has been playing at a level of his own the majority of the season, and for that, he'll remain at No. 1.

2) Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs
Patrick Mahomes has returned to his MVP self over the course of the last few weeks, and his turnaround has been the biggest reason for the Chiefs' playoff hopes remaining alive. Tossing four touchdowns in the team's loss to the Cowboys puts Mahomes's season totals at 22 passing touchdowns and seven interceptions. Entering Week 14, the Texas Tech product moves up into the No. 2 spot.
3) Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills
Josh Allen's turnover woes continue in the team's win against the Steelers. With 19 passing touchdowns and 10 interceptions on the season, Allen has regressed in terms of taking care of the ball. However, there's no doubt that his ability to will his team to a win is exactly why he's one of the top QBs in the league. As a result, the Bills' star will enter next week inside the top three.
4) Drake Maye, New England Patriots
Drake Maye has solidified himself as a legit MVP candidate through the start of the season. The former ACC standout has been a massive reason for the Patriots' early-season success. As he continues to grow more confident manning the offense, the Pats look increasingly more dangerous each week. Moving forward, there's no way not to include the rising star inside the top five.
5) Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys
Dak Prescott has been playing at another level since the Cowboys' offense returned to full health, and after the last few weeks, Dallas has become one of the hottest teams in the league. The Cowboys' playoff chances are slowly but surely improving, mainly due to their star quarterback's play.
6) Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals
Joe Burrow returned to play in the Bengals' Thanksgiving win, and not only did the quarterback look healthy, but he returned looking like one of the top QBs in the league again. The former Heisman winner could be the team's saving grace when it comes to Cincy's playoff hopes, and if he continues to play at the level he showed on Thursday, don't be surprised to see Burrow back in the top five sooner rather than later.
7) Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens
Lamar Jackson typically would find himself inside of the top three, if not atop this list, when he's playing at his best. However, without a touchdown over the last three weeks, it's hard to put him in the category of top three QBs when he's playing through one of the worst stretches of his career. Despite that, there's no denying that Jackson is one of the most elite talents in the NFL and, courtesy of his potential to turn his poor play around, Jackson lands just outside the top five.
8) Jared Goff, Detroit Lions
The Lions offense hasn't been as dominant over the last few weeks as seasons past, but that blame can't be placed on Jared Goff by any means. Goff finished with two touchdowns in the team's Thanksgiving loss, and while the Lions currently only sit two games above .500, their star QB could be the player to pull them out of the hole their inconsistency has dug them into.
9) Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles
Jalen Hurts is up to 27 total touchdowns and only four turnovers on the season, and as he continues to run the team's offense with poise, Philadelphia will remain in the race atop the NFC. Hurts will play a pivotal role in the Eagles' success moving forward, and it won't be a shock to see him move up this list in the coming weeks.
