Ranking the Top 10 NFL Defenses for Week 5

1. Chicago Bears
The Chicago Bears defense has been very consistent through four games this season. A matchup against the Carolina Panthers at home should provide even more confidence for this unit.

2. Minnesota Vikings
With the way that Brian Flores has been scheming things defensively for the Minnesota Vikings, there's really no matchup that should scare you with this defense. The Jets offense has some nice pieces, but hasn't exactly been explosive through four games.
3. Las Vegas Raiders
The Las Vegas Raiders have proven to be hard to play against through four weeks. They have a great chance to continue playing strong defensive football against the Denver Broncos in Week 5.
4. Seattle Seahawks
After getting lit up defensively in Week 4 on the road in Detroit, the Seattle Seahawks have a perfect matchup to bounce back in against the lowly New York Giants at home.
5. San Francisco 49ers
Even with some injuries defensively, the San Francisco 49ers have a great scheme that should be able to work its magic against an Arizona offense that's been inconsistent at best.

6. New England Patriots
Even with all the skill position players the Miami Dolphins have, it's useless if you can't get competent quarterback play. The Patriots should pounce on this opportunity in this AFC East clash.
7. Miami Dolphins
Although the Miami Dolphins haven't exactly shown out on either side of the football, a matchup against the New England Patriots should do wonders for this group defensively.
8. Kansas City Chiefs
Once again, it appears as though the Kansas City Chiefs look better on defense than they do on offense. The Chiefs line up against the New Orleans Saints in Week 5 on Monday Night Football.
9. Green Bay Packers
The Green Bay Packers struggled against Minnesota last week. If they get some bodies back on defense, there's merit in liking this matchup on the road against the Los Angeles Rams.
10. Indianapolis Colts
The Indianapolis Colts showed some bright spots defensively in their win against Pittsburgh in Week 4. They get a chance to have a pair of strong showings in a row against a struggling Jacksonville squad.
