The undefeated Seattle Seahawks (3-0) head to Motown tonight for a primetime showdown against the 2-1 Detroit Lions on Monday Night Football.
In what promises to be an exciting matchup, let’s break down the best first-touchdown bets as Week 4 in the NFL comes to a close.

DET RB David Montgomery (+500)
After running for a career-high 13 touchdowns last season, Montgomery has picked up right where he left off in 2024, finding the end zone in three straight games. He’s as good a bet as any to open the scoring in a potential shootout.
SEA RB Kenneth Walker (+700)
Walker returns to the lineup after missing the past two games with an oblique injury. The 23-year-old opened the season strong, rushing for 103 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries. While the Lions boast one of the league’s top run defenses, they’re vulnerable through the air. Seattle’s potent passing attack could create early red-zone and goal-line opportunities for Walker to punch it in.
DET TE Sam LaPorta (+900)
LaPorta exited Week 3 with a low-ankle sprain but is expected to be active after participating fully in Friday’s practice. A year after scoring ten touchdowns as a rookie, the former Iowa standout has yet to find the end zone this season and has managed just eight catches for 94 yards. That said, Seattle has struggled to contain tight ends, allowing the fourth-most yards and fifth-most catches to the position. LaPorta’s talent and red zone prowess make him a great value bet to break through and score first tonight.
