Tied 1-1, the WNBA Finals shifts to Minnesota tonight for a critical Game 3 as the Lynx host the New York Liberty.

Here is everything you need to know, along with our top picks and predictions.

Game Information & Where to Watch

  • Spread: Liberty (-3.5) | Moneyline: Liberty (-178), Lynx (+144) | Total: 160.5
  • Date & Time: Wednesday, Oct. 16 at 8:00 p.m. ET
  • Location: Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota
  • Where to Watch: ESPN (TV), Fubo (Live Stream)

Best Bet: Liberty OVER 21.5 First Quarter Points (+102)

The Liberty came out firing in Games 1 and 2, scoring 31 and 32 first-quarter points, respectively. Despite the challenging road atmosphere, New York’s offensive firepower and experience should get them off to another strong start this evening.

Prop Bet: NYL Betnijah Laney-Hamilton OVER 9.5 Points (+108)

Laney-Hamilton was fantastic for New York in Game 2’s win, scoring 20 points on 8-of-14 shooting, including four three-pointers. It was a much-needed breakout, as the 30-year-old had been averaging just 5.9 points on 29% shooting in her previous seven games. Laney-Hamilton did average 11.9 PPG during the regular season, and at plus money, let’s see if she can carry her momentum into Game 3.

Prediction

Winner: Liberty

After being upset in Game 1, New York responded with a dominant performance in Game 2, holding Minnesota to just 66 points en route to a 14-point, wire-to-wire victory. The Liberty were road warriors during the regular season, boasting a league-best 16-4 mark. While the Lynx will have the advantage of their home crowd, New York has looked like the better team, and I think Breanna Stewart and Co. will walk away with a 2-1 lead.
