All eyes are on Indiana this weekend as the WNBA‘s brightest stars descend on Gainbridge Fieldhouse for All-Star festivities. But one burning question looms ahead of Friday night’s skills competitions: Will Caitlin Clark compete in the 2025 WNBA 3-Point Contest?
Is Caitlin Clark Participating in the WNBA 3-Point Contest?
Unfortunately for her fans, the answer is no. The Indiana Fever rookie phenom will not participate in the 3-point shootout or the Skills Challenge due to a right groin injury she aggravated earlier in the week. While she was initially slated to compete in tonight’s 3-point contest and was named an All-Star captain, Clark has opted to sit out of all on-court events this weekend to focus on healing in time for the Fever’s playoff push.
Still, Clark will be in attendance throughout All-Star Weekend, supporting Team Clark from the sidelines and assisting head coach Sandy Brondello during Saturday’s marquee game.

While Clark’s absence is a disappointment, her long-term health remains the priority — especially as Indiana prepares for a tough post-break stretch. It’s unknown if she will return to action Tuesday, when the Fever take on the New York Liberty at Barclays Center.
A Look Ahead to WNBA’s Saturday Night Main Event
While Caitlin Clark won’t take the floor for any of the All-Star skills competitions, she’s still set to make an impact. Clark will be on the sidelines in uniform, assisting Team Clark’s coaching staff as they square off against Team Collier. Her absence on the court may be a letdown for some, but her courtside presence will keep the spotlight firmly on Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
