WNBA Best Bets (July 16): Aces to Handle Sky?

Here’s the lineup:
- 11:30 AM ET: Phoenix Mercury (-4.5) @ Washington Mystics
- 3:30 PM ET: Seattle Storm (-8.5) @ Los Angeles Sparks
- 7:00 PM ET: Connecticut Sun @ New York Liberty (-3.5)
- 10:00 PM ET: Chicago Sky @ Las Vegas Aces (-13.5)
Below are two of my best bets, beginning in Sin City.

Las Vegas Aces -13.5 (-108) vs. Chicago Sky
The Aces have turned their season around with nine wins over their past ten games, topping the Western Conference standings with a 16-7 record. On their home floor, they’ve dominated, winning their past three games by an average of 20 points. That doesn’t bode well for Angel Reese and the struggling Sky (9-14), who are coming off two straight losses to the league-best New York Liberty, both by at least 14 points.
Seattle Storm @ Los Angeles Sparks UNDER 162.5 Points (-108)
The Storm and Sparks have both been involved in lower-scoring games recently. Seattle’s defense is solid, while Los Angeles has had issues scoring consistently, making the under on tonight’s total an appealing play.
