1. (Tie) Florida State Seminoles vs. Boston College Eagles (Moneyline: FSU -10000)
For the second consecutive week, the Florida State Seminoles are the chalkiest college football team of the week. Albeit, this time, they are tied with six other squads. FSU has rocketed up the rankings, entering Week 3 as the third-ranked team in the nation. A position they intend to improve on after Saturday’s clash with the Boston College Eagles.
1. (Tie) South Carolina Gamecocks vs. Georgia Bulldogs (Moneyline: Georgia -10000)
The two-time defending National Champion Georgia Bulldogs are in the middle of four straight home games to start the season. As expected, the Bulldogs are 2-0 to open the campaign, stretching their undefeated streak to 19 games. They should make it 20 in a row after their SEC showdown with the South Carolina Gamecocks.
1. (Tie) Alabama Crimson Tide vs. South Florida Bulls (Moneyline: Alabama -10000)
Although not evident from the moneyline rankings this week, the Alabama Crimson Tide have been knocked from their pedestal as the best team in college football. Their conference rivals, the Georgia Bulldogs, have usurped them as the pre-eminent program in the FBS. Still, they should efficiently dispatch the South Florida Bulls before kicking off their SEC schedule next week.
1. (Tie) Western Michigan Broncos vs. Iowa Hawkeyes (Moneyline: Iowa -10000)
As usual, the Iowa Hawkeyes have turned the tide on their opponents with a couple of fierce defensive showings to open the season. They won’t need to be at their best to limit a disappointing Western Michigan Broncos side that put up just seven points and 318 yards in Week 2.
1. (Tie) Western Kentucky Hilltoppers vs. Ohio State Buckeyes (Moneyline: Ohio State -10000)
Offense hasn’t come naturally for the Ohio State Buckeyes. The playoff contenders have totaled just 57 points across two outings, resulting in a fall to the sixth seed ahead of Saturday’s matchup against the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers. A good showing is needed to help them re-establish themselves as a legitimate threat.
1. (Tie) Wyoming Cowboys vs. Texas Longhorns (Moneyline: Texas -10000)
Hopefully, Week 3 isn’t a letdown spot for the Texas Longhorns after last week’s season-defining win over the Crimson Tide. Texas marched into Bryant-Denny Stadium as +7.5 underdogs, dispatching Alabama with a fourth-quarter comeback. The Wyoming Cowboys could rain on that parade with a monumental upset on Saturday.
1. (Tie) Kansas Jayhawks vs. Nevada Wolf Pack (Moneyline: Kansas -10000)
This is an unfamiliar spot for the Kansas Jayhawks. The Jayhawks have played in just one bowl game since 2008 but are tied for the highest moneyline on the board ahead of their non-conference clash against the Nevada Wolf Pack.
8. Oklahoma Sooners vs. Tulsa Golden Hurricane (Moneyline: Oklahoma -5000)
The Oklahoma Sooners had a closer-than-anticipated battle against the SMU Mustangs last week, needing 14 fourth-quarter points to dispatch the visitors. That didn’t appear to impact their standing this week, as they are still priced as -5,000 moneyline favorites against the Tulsa Golden Hurricane.
9. (Tie) Akron Zips vs. Kentucky Wildcats (Moneyline: Kentucky -3330)
The final SEC entry on the top ten list is the Kentucky Wildcats. Kentucky hosts the 1-1 Akron Zips, who are fresh off a 24-21 win over FCS foes, the Morgan State Bears. This is one of the biggest mismatches on the slate, reflected in the Wildcats moneyline price.
9. (Tie) San Diego State Aztecs vs. Oregon State Beavers (Moneyline: Oregon State -3330)
The most challenging part of the San Diego State Aztecs’ schedule will be over after this week. The Aztecs are playing consecutive games against Pac-12 teams, following up Week 2’s battle against the UCLA Bruins with a road contest against the Oregon State Beavers. San Diego State’s victory might be keeping this one within four scores.
