The biggest success story of the modern NFL has been Jim Harbaugh, who's set to return to the league with the Los Angeles Chargers after winning a national title at Michigan. During his first NFL stint with the San Francisco 49ers, Harbaugh posted a strong 44-19-1 record.
Urban Meyer
Urban Meyer was a head coach at Ohio State, Florida, Utah, and Bowling Green in college. Making the transition to the NFL was difficult for him after being named head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars. Meyer was fired after a 2-11 start in his first season.
