Don't Let Jalen Milroe Beat You With His Legs
Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe is dangerous and has continued to climb back into the Heisman conversation over the last month. His ability to scramble and use his legs prevents unique challenges for opposing defenses. In saying that, Milroe also isn't the first quarterback who's a dual threat to take on this Georgia defense. If the Bulldogs want to be crowned SEC champs for the second year in a row, limiting the damage on the ground and big splash plays from Milroe will be key.
Run the Football With Two-Headed Ground Game
It's no secret how well the Georgia Bulldogs have run the football in the back half of the regular season. Over the last month, running back Kendall Milton has been explosive and has stolen the lead in the backfield. If Georgia wants to knock off Alabama in the SEC Championship, they'll need Milton to have a big game, along with a strong performance from the offensive line.
Brock Bowers Steals Show
If you've watched the Georgia Bulldogs over their last two national title wins, you know the importance of Brock Bowers to the offense. He already has a big game against Alabama on his resume and will be looking to add to that on Saturday. Bowers can help you win in many ways, and even if he doesn't see a ton of touches on offense, he should be able to open up space for Georgia's talented wide receiver room to help create plays.
Javon Bullard Continues Dominance
Safety Javon Bullard is a known commodity around college football, and his impact can be felt heavily on the Georgia secondary. He's essentially the focal point of Georgia's second layer of coverage and has been tremendous this season. As a leader on this team, Bullard knows he has to have a strong game against Alabama, especially with this group not at 100% on defense. If Bullard creates a turnover or limits some of Alabama's top wideouts while keeping an eye on Jalen Milroe, the Bulldogs will like the result.
Carson Beck Manages Game Well
One thing that Carson Beck has done an excellent job of this season is managing games. You don't see him forcing throws, and he's made some great reads that help elevate Georgia's offense. Alabama has a strong defense, and you know Nick Saban and company are going to throw a wide range of looks at Beck. Staying composed and limiting the turnovers are big keys to Georgia finding success in the SEC Championship.
