Multiple MLB teams have been finding consistent success, but the Houston Astros and Los Angeles Dodgers have been doing the most climbing up the World Series odds board of late.

2. Los Angeles Dodgers +340 (Last week: +420)

The hottest team in MLB is the Los Angeles Dodgers, who’ve won eight straight games and nine of their last ten. The Dodgers lead the NL West by 8.5 games and have continued to see their World Series odds bet down this week from +420 to +340

3. Houston Astros +550 (Last week: +700) 

With six victories over their last ten games, the Houston Astros are sitting comfortably in the second wild-card spot in the American League. With the defending World Series champs getting healthier, they’ve seen their odds of repeating get bet down from +550 to +700

4. Texas Rangers +750 (Last week: +700)

The Texas Rangers have picked up victories in eight of their last ten games and lead the AL West by 2.5 games. Texas made substantial trade deadline additions, and they are paying off. The Rangers continue to have some of the best World Series odds, even after falling from +700 to +750 over the last week. 

5. Tampa Bay Rays +1000 (Last week: +700)

The Tampa Bay Rays have suffered a lot of bad news in their rotation this season, losing three of their top five starters. Still, having depth pays off, and the Rays have that. Even with that depth, the Rays have seen their World Series odds continue to drop over the the past week from +700 to +1000

6. Baltimore Orioles +1300 (Last week: +1200)

With seven wins over their last ten games, the Baltimore Orioles have increased their lead in the AL East to three games. The O’s have the top record in the American League but saw a slight dip in their World Series odds over the last week, dropping from +1200 to +1300

7. Philadelphia Phillies +1700 (Last week: +2400)

One of the hottest teams in MLB over the last month has been the Philadelphia Phillies. The Phillies have won six of their last ten games and continue to occupy the top wild-card spot in the National League. The reigning NL champs have seen their World Series odds bet down considerably from +2400 to +1700.

8. Toronto Blue Jays +2100 (Last week: +1900)

The Toronto Blue Jays fell victim, losing their series to the Chicago Cubs over the weekend, but they’ve still won six of their last ten games and hold the final wild-card spot in the American League. The Blue Jays World Series odds dipped over the last week, falling from +1900 to +2100

9. Minnesota Twins +2600 (Last week: +2300)

With two straight victories and six of their last ten games, the Minnesota Twins have increased their AL Central lead to 4.5 games over the Cleveland Guardians. The Twins have still seen their World Series odds take a slight hit, dropping from +2300 to +2600

10. Seattle Mariners +3300 (Last week: Unranked in Top Ten)

Even after dropping their weekend series to the Orioles, the Seattle Mariners are still amongst the hottest teams in MLB. The M’s have won eight of their last ten games and are only 1.5 games behind the final wild-card spot in the American League, helping them rise to +3300 World Series odds.
