Detroit Lions’ cornerback Jerry Jacobs is on pace for the best season of his career. The 26-year-old has shined since taking over for an injured Emmanuel Moseley. During the Lions’ Week 5 win over the Panthers, he recorded four solo tackles, one pass deflection, and one interception.

DaRon Bland had a career game in Week 4, tallying two interceptions with a pick-six against Patriots quarterback Mac Jones. The California native is in his sophomore campaign with the Cowboys and has become an important role player for Dallas. As a rookie, he filled in at nickelback to close out the 2022 season. Now in his second year, he seamlessly stepped in for injured star cornerback Trevon Diggs.

Jessie Bates III recorded his third interception of the season in Week 3 against Lions quarterback Jared Goff. The former Bengal also recorded 11 tackles, including six solo tackles, marking his second double-digit stop effort of the season.

All of Jordan Whitehead’s interceptions came in Week 1. The safety had three picks off Bills QB Josh Allen, the third of which turned into Garrett Wilson’s game-tying touchdown. Not only did Whitehead spark the come-from-behind win, he satisfied his contractive incentive, cashing in on a $250,000 bonus just one week into the season.
