At an imposing 6’6” and 230 pounds, Jace LaViolette wields a thunderous left-handed bat that already features 50 collegiate home runs. His swing blends controlled aggression and advanced bat speed, allowing him to hammer pitches well beyond 115 MPH exit velocities. LaViolette’s hips fire quickly, creating tremendous leverage and fueling his all-fields power approach. Although strikeouts are a factor, he rarely expands the zone and often draws free passes. Remarkably agile for his build, LaViolette has tested all three outfield spots, but scouts expect a move to a corner outfield role where his size and throwing arm will truly shine.
5. SS Aiva Arquette
Thanks to Just Baseball for the stats, analysis and insights for this slideshow article.
Hailing from Hawaii, Aiva Arquette lit up scoreboards at Washington, posting a .325/.384/.574 line with 27 extra-base hits before transferring to Oregon State. Towering at 6’5” and 220 pounds, his frame and sturdy arm lean toward a future at third base, though he’s handled shortstop effectively in recent action. Arquette’s raw power is formidable; he’s recorded an average exit velocity of 93 MPH with a top mark near 113 MPH. He occasionally overswings, showing limited willingness to take walks, but his overall batting approach remains potent. Refine his plate discipline, and Arquette has a high-ceiling offensive profile ready for the hot corner.
4. OF Cam Cannarella

Originally an infielder, Cam Cannarella has established himself in center field at Clemson, courtesy of superb routes and a glove that inspires confidence. At the plate, Cannarella flaunts outstanding contact skills and a line-drive stroke, yet still hints at gap-to-gap pop. In 2024, he increased his fly-ball rate, bumping his average exit velocity to about 91 MPH. While this more aggressive approach led to slight increases in chase rate, his sub-8% swinging-strike rate stayed intact. If his labrum fully heals, Cannarella’s all-around game could land him in the top ten come draft day.
3. RHP Tyler Bremner
A prototype mid-major gem, Tyler Bremner boasts strong athleticism, a low-effort motion, and a remarkably loud repertoire. Now sitting in the mid-90s and tapping 97–98 MPH in short spurts, his fastball offers both carry up in the zone and tailing action down low. Bremner’s double-plus changeup sits in the low 80s and mimics screwball movement, showcasing stellar spin and command. His slider recently evolved into a sweeping upper-80s offering with a fierce two-plane break. With three potential above-average pitches and reliable control, Bremner shapes up as an early-round highlight in 2025.

Following a rocky freshman year, Jamie Arnold erupted in 2024, notching a 2.98 ERA and 159 strikeouts over 105.2 innings. His unique delivery involves substantial scap retraction, timed perfectly to achieve a deceptive release. Arnold’s fastball surged from barely 90 MPH to a steady 94 MPH in 2024, touching 97 MPH at peak. He also features a mid-80s sweeper that racks up whiffs and a developing cambio with late dive. Between his velocity jump and strike-throwing consistency, Arnold has emerged as a leading contender to be the first pitcher off the draft board.
