MLB Betting Guide for August 23: Mariners’ Epic Downfall

We have a full 15-game MLB slate set for tonight as we head into the weekend, so here is everything you need to know in order to push out as many winners as possible tonight.

Atop the AL standings, the New York Yankees have a great opportunity to grow their AL East lead as they begin a series with the Colorado Rockies tonight in the Bronx, whereas the Baltimore Orioles have themselves a tough weekend against the Houston Astros. Behind them, the Cleveland Guardians hope to get back on track against the Texas Rangers as they now find themselves 1.5 games back from the AL lead. Down the standings a bit, the Seattle Mariners surprisingly fired their manager Scott Servais amidst their recent fall in the standings, but a managerial change isn’t enough as they’re now 5.5 games back of the Astros for the AL West lead.

Over in the NL, the Los Angeles Dodgers sit alone atop the league as they begin a weekend series with a respectable Tampa Bay Rays. Behind them, the Philadelphia Phillies will face the Kansas City Royals in inter-league play, where we have you covered with a +1000 ultimate same-game parlay, and the Milwaukee Brewers will be on the road to face the Oakland Athletics this weekend. The New York Mets will also aim to get themselves back into the NL wild-card picture against the San Diego Padres tonight in an entertaining late-night battle.
