10. Luke Weaver, RP, Yankees
The Yankees saw Luke Weaver falter in the ALCS a bit after a dominant start to the postseason. With almost a week of rest and not having seen the Dodgers much this season, Weaver could be back to being the guy who saved the Yankees bullpen the final month of the season.
Odds to be Postseason Saves Leader: -225

1. Shohei Ohtani, DH, Dodgers
Shohei Ohtani is by far the most impactful player in this series. Not only can he hit for power, but if the Yankees put him on base, he can turn a single into a triple by stealing second and third. He has been throwing to the bullpen, too. Could he be the secret pitching weapon?
World Series MVP Odds: +220
2. Aaron Judge, CF, Yankees
The likely American League MVP, Aaron Judge, has struggled this postseason. However, he started to wake up in the ALCS with a couple of clutch home runs. Judge can carry the Yankees to a few wins if he gets hot.
World Series MVP Odds: +500
3. Mookie Betts, RF, Dodgers
Mookie Betts has been one of the Dodgers' most important supporting cast members. He has four home runs and 12 RBIs, which has helped the Dodger offense when Ohtani has not been hitting well.
World Series Hit Leader: +500
4. Jack Flaherty, SP, Dodgers
The Dodgers starting pitching has struggled this postseason, and their prized trade deadline acquisition, Jack Flaherty, has a 7.04 ERA in 15.1 innings in October. If he can pitch like the ace the Dodgers thought they were getting, this could be a quick series.
5. Clarke Schmidt, SP, Yankees
It has not been announced when Clarke Schmidt will start for the Yankees, but he plays a pivotal role behind Gerrit Cole and Carlos Rodon. Either Schmidt starts game two or game three at Yankee Stadium. Both are swing games, and the Yankees can steal home-field advantage if he performs well.
6. Juan Soto, RF, Yankees
Juan Soto’s impact will be felt in this series. He regularly gives the Yankees their best at-bats and has come up with some of the most clutch home runs.
World Series MVP Odds: +550
7. Freddie Freeman, 1B, Dodgers
Freddie Freeman has had a lackluster postseason thus far with just a .219 batting average, no home runs, and just one run batted in. He is supposed to be part of LA’s big three bats but has been in a postseason slump.
World Series MVP Odds: +2500
8. Austin Wells, C, Yankees
The offense took off when the Yankees moved Austin Wells to the cleanup spot behind Aaron Judge this summer. Wells got hot and offered the protection behind Judge that was sorely needed. However, Wells has cooled off toward the end of the season and has been ice-cold in the playoffs. With some time off, Wells could be ready to jump-start the offense after some rest.
Odds to be World Series Home Run Leader: +4500
9. Blake Treinen, RP, Dodgers
The Dodgers' starting pitching has been pretty bad this postseason, but when they get a lead, they usually hold on to it, thanks to closer Blake Treinen. He has three saves and a 1.13 ERA.
Odds to be Postseason Saves Leader: +180
