1. Sebastian Walcott – 3B – (Double-A)
At just 18 years old, Sebastian Walcott has already established himself as one of the most exciting young prospects in baseball. The Texas Rangers aggressively promoted him to Double-A after a solid showing in High-A, where he finished with a .295/.351/.500 slash line over his last 57 games. Standing at 6’4” and 200 pounds, Walcott possesses incredible raw power, with exit velocities reaching up to 116 MPH, making him a potential 30+ home run hitter in the future. His ability to adjust his approach at the plate, using the whole field and cutting down on strikeouts, has shown maturity beyond his years.
Defensively, Walcott’s athleticism and plus arm make him a natural fit for third base, though his mechanics still need some refining. With a continued upward trajectory, Walcott could very well become the next superstar to emerge from the Rangers’ farm system.

5. Emiliano Teodo – RHP – (Double-A)
Emiliano Teodo’s electric fastball and devastating slider make him one of the most exciting bullpen arms in the Rangers system. Though he’s been a starter for much of his career, Teodo’s command issues and high slider usage suggest he may be best suited for a high-leverage relief role in the future. His fastball touches triple digits, and his slider is nearly unhittable, generating a .080 batting average against in 2024.
Despite his smaller frame, Teodo’s raw stuff is elite, and his ability to miss bats at an incredible rate could make him a future All-Star closer. If the Rangers decide to move him to the bullpen, Teodo could become one of baseball’s most electrifying relievers, with the potential to dominate in the back end of games.

4. Jose Corniell – RHP – (High-A)
Jose Corniell may have missed the 2024 season due to elbow surgery, but his potential as a starter remains incredibly high. Before the injury, Corniell displayed an impressive four-pitch mix, with a fastball that sits in the mid-90s and a wipeout slider that is particularly effective against right-handed hitters. Corniell’s ability to mix in a cutter and changeup has made him a tough matchup for lefties as well, giving him the tools to succeed against both sides of the plate.
His improved command and simplified delivery prior to the injury had him trending toward middle-of-the-rotation upside. While he may need time to shake off the rust when he returns, Corniell’s ceiling as a strong rotation piece remains intact. The Rangers are optimistic that Corniell will return to form in 2025 and continue his development as a potential top pitching prospect.

3. Alejandro Rosario – RHP – (High-A)
Alejandro Rosario took a massive leap forward in 2024, solidifying his place as one of the Rangers’ top pitching prospects. His fastball sits between 96-98 MPH, with plenty of life and movement that induces swings and misses. What makes Rosario truly special, however, is his feel for his slider and splitter, both of which are considered plus pitches. His slider, in particular, has become a go-to weapon, generating whiffs from both righties and lefties. Rosario’s ability to keep hitters off-balance with his three-pitch mix and improved command has made him a dominant force in the minors.
In 2024, he led all minor league pitchers in K-BB%, showcasing his ability to limit walks while piling up strikeouts. Rosario has the potential to develop into a solid No. 3 starter at the big-league level, and his stock is rapidly rising.

2. Kumar Rocker – RHP – (MLB)
After overcoming Tommy John surgery, Kumar Rocker returned to the mound in 2024, showcasing the electric stuff that made him one of the most feared college pitchers in recent memory. The 6’5” right-hander wields a fastball that sits in the upper 90s, complemented by a devastating slider that he can manipulate in speed and break. Rocker’s improved mechanics and smooth delivery have made him a consistent strike-thrower, and he has been dominant in his return. His ability to command two distinct fastballs and utilize his elite slider makes him a nightmare for hitters.
The Rangers are excited about Rocker’s potential as a No. 2 starter, and with his health back on track, a 2025 breakout season seems imminent. His ceiling is incredibly high, and the Rangers may fast-track him to the big leagues in 2025 after making three starts with the big-league club this season.
