Best Bet #1: Atlanta Hawks -4.5 (-106) @ Orlando Magic

Led by Jalen Johnson, the Hawks (43-33) are one of the hottest teams in basketball, winning 16 of their past 18 games to climb to fifth in the Eastern Conference. Tonight is another great spot to back Quin Snyder’s squad as Atlanta has owned Orlando this season, going 3-0 SU while winning by an average of 10.3 points.

As for the Magic, while they’re coming off a win over the Suns, they’re on the second night of a back-to-back and are still just 2-5 SU in their last seven games. Given Atlanta’s season-long dominance in this matchup and a clear rest advantage, I will happily lay the points with Johnson and company.

Best Bet #2: San Antonio Spurs vs. Golden State Warriors OVER 226.5 Points (-105)

Sitting on a dominant 57-18 record, the Spurs have been an absolute juggernaut this season, making their hefty 13.5-point road spread against the 36-39 Warriors a bit tricky to navigate. Instead of laying that massive number, I’ll target the scoreboard.

These two teams currently average roughly eight points higher than tonight’s projected total. With Golden State cashing the over in more than 60% of their matchups this year, a fast-paced, high-scoring shootout at the Chase Center feels inevitable.
