Knicks vs Pacers Predictions, Props & Best Bets | Game 6 Parlay

Forget everything you think you know about the NBA Playoffs. This year’s postseason has been nothing short of sensational. The Indiana Pacers have staked themselves to a 3-2 series lead versus the New York Knicks. With the series shifting back to the Gainbridge Fieldhouse for Game 6, the Knicks face a win-or-go-home scenario on Saturday night.

Leg 1: Pacers -4

The zig-zag theory is alive and well in the Eastern Conference Final. Over the last four outings, the Knicks and Pacers have traded ATS wins, validating the long-held theory that teams alternate covering the spread in the NBA Playoffs. Still, several more prominent factors point toward a Pacers victory on Saturday night.

Indiana has been one of the surest ATS bets in the playoffs. Through 15 games, the Pacers are a sterling 10-5 against the spread, covering 66.7% of the time. Further, their scoring at home has been on another level. The Pacers are averaging 117.4 points per game in the postseason, crossing the 117-point threshold in five of those seven contests.

The Knicks have been much less reliable at covering the number recently. New York has failed to secure consecutive ATS wins since Games 1 and 2 of the second round. Since then, they have covered the spread in just four of nine games, including two of their previous five.

Scoring has been a bit of an issue for the Knicks. Over their last four games, they have fallen below 111 points in all but one of those contests. Further, they are shooting a below-average 47.0% over that stretch. The Pacers can impose themselves on offense, and we expect that to be the difference in Game 6. Indiana -4 is the play.

Leg 2: Josh Hart to Record a Double-Double (+230)

The Knicks have gotten the most out of their role players, which has helped them stay competitive throughout the Eastern Conference Finals. While we’re not counting on them to extend the series, we are forecasting another strong showing from Josh Hart.

The Knicks’ swingman has made his presence felt on the glass versus the Pacers. Hart is averaging 10.0 rebounds per game, through five contests, hitting double-digits in all but one of those outings. While he continues to do most of the heavy lifting on defense, Hart has also added multiple offensive rebounds in every game.

Hart’s recent increase in scoring has complemented his rebounding proficiency. After putting up just 22 points through the first three games of the series, Hart is up to 24 over the last two. Across the more recent sample, he’s shooting 53.8% from the field, while getting to the line 12 times.

At +230, there’s a decided advantage in backing Hart to sustain his current form. We’re betting he records a double-double for the third straight game.

Leg 3: Pascal Siakam to Record 2+ Three-Pointers (+144)

Pascal Siakam has alternated between above- and below-average performances in the Eastern Conference Finals. In Games 1, 3, and 5, the Pacers’ big man has averaged 16.3 points per game. In Games 2 and 4, he’s up to 34.5. Heading into Game 6, we’re predicting Siakam has another monster performance on tap.

While he does a little bit of everything right, Siakam’s scoring prowess is his most promising attribute. He averaged north of 20 points per game throughout the regular season and has shown the ability to take over versus the Knicks. Settling into his friendly confines for Game 6, Siakam is poised for another elite performance.

Recently, we’ve seen an uptick in his volume from long distance. Siakam is averaging 3.0 three-point attempts per game in the Eastern Conference Finals, shooting a very strong 46.7% from range. Included in that sample is a 60.0% (3-for-5) three-point shooting percentage at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

If the Pacers’ offense gets going as anticipated, Siakam will surely get in on the action. You wouldn’t be wrong for targeting the over on several of his props, but we can’t overlook the value in backing him to record two or more three-pointers.

Knicks vs Pacers Game 6 Parlay +1220

  • Pacers -4
  • Josh Hart to Record a Double-Double +270
  • Pascal Siakam to Record 2+ Three-Pointers +144

The Pacers can fight their way into the NBA Finals with a win. We expect exactly that as they get their offense at home and cover the short number. Parlaying that pick with a Josh Hart double-double and Pascal Siakam to record two or more three-pointers could yield bettors a hefty +1220 return on their investment.
