10) Yves Missi vs. Trail Blazers
Stat Line: 2 PTS, 8 REB, 1 AST, 6 PF (1/11 FG)
Yves Missi impressed during his rookie season with the New Orleans Pelicans, averaging 9.1 points and 8.2 rebounds as a starter for the team. The Baylor product seems poised to be the big man of the future for the Pelicans. Heading into Summer League, he had a prime opportunity to prove that after the team selected a rookie big man in 2025's first round of the draft.
Instead, the former first-rounder struggled to prove he's ready to make a sophomore leap with this performance against the Portland Trail Blazers, where he struggled to stay out of foul trouble.
1) Tyler Kolek vs. Celtics
Stat Line: 3 PTS, 4 AST, 2 REB (1/13 FG, 0/6 3PT)
Tyler Kolek was selected in the second round of the NBA Draft last offseason by the New York Knicks out of Marquette. The guard was a dynamic playmaker throughout his college career with the Golden Eagles, and he seemed poised to potentially emerge as a contributor off the bench for New York in 2025.
With a chance to showcase his growth since joining the NBA in Summer League, all eyes were on Kolek. Undoubtedly, the pressure may have gotten to him against the Celtics, putting together an abysmal stat line headlined by poor shooting.

2) Baylor Scheierman vs. Grizzlies
Stat Line: 8 PTS, 5 REB, 4 AST (2/14 FG, 1/8 3PT)
Baylor Scheierman was Brad Stevens's first pick in the first round since taking over as President of Basketball Operations for the Boston Celtics. The Creighton product was viewed entering the league as an oversized do-it-all forward with the ability to be a knockdown shooter and willing passer.
The rookie struggled from the start of Summer League last offseason and carried those struggles into the regular season, until he seemingly started to put it all together down the stretch for the C's after a lengthy stint in the G League.
Heading into a pivotal retooling year for the Celtics, Scheierman seemed to have a prime opportunity ahead of him to prove he can make an impact in Joe Mazzulla's rotation. Unfortunately, the playmaker failed to capitalize on the opportunity in Summer League, stringing together multiple subpar performances, including this matchup against the Grizzlies.
Scheirman finished summer league play shooting 27% from field goal range and 20% from three.
3) Kobe Bufkin vs. Suns
Stat Line: 10 PTS, 9 AST, 6 REB (3/17 FG, 0/5 3PT)
The Atlanta Hawks swung on Kobe Bufkin just outside of the lottery with the No. 15 pick in the 2023 NBA Draft. In two seasons with the Hawks, the guard has struggled to crack the rotation for Quin Snyder, mainly due to inconsistent play. With Atlanta building a competitive roster to contend in a wide-open Eastern Conference next season, Bufkin's leap would have been huge for the Hawks.
Although there's still time, his performance against the Suns made his impact as a scorer less reliable, despite his ability to impact the game as a facilitator. Nonetheless, with Trae Young on the roster, facilitating is unlikely to earn the Michigan product minutes, considering the Hawks need scoring off the bench.

4) Cooper Flagg vs. Lakers
Stat Line: 10 PTS, 6 REB, 4 AST (5/21 FG, 0/5 3PT)
All eyes were on Cooper Flagg in his NBA Summer League debut against Bronny James and the Los Angeles Lakers. Being the No. 1 overall pick alone is enough weight for the incoming Duke star to carry on his shoulders, but adding to the matter is playing against the son of a future Hall of Famer looking to silence critics.
Flagg didn't quite look himself in this debut, and it showed with his offensive struggles on the floor, including multiple possessions where smaller defenders got the best of him in mismatches.
Obviously, Flagg bounced back with a huge game in his next matchup for the Mavs, but that doesn't exclude him from this list of poor performances.
5) Tyrese Proctor vs. Heat
Stat Line: 8 PTS, 5 AST, 3 REB (3/13 FG, 0/5 3PT)
Tyrese Proctor committed to Duke with all the talent to be a lottery pick when he decided to declare for the NBA Draft. However, the Australian prospect never could put it all together, which left his random streaks of hot shooting with the Blue Devils to solidify him as a second-round pick.
In his summer league showing with the Cleveland Cavaliers, he showcased the inconsistencies once again, including this matchup against the Miami Heat, where his poor shooting resulted in limited impact on the game.
6) Kasparas Jakucionis vs. Cavaliers
Stat Line: 6 PTS, 2 AST, 2 REB (2/5 FG, 0/2 3PT) 25 Minutes
Kasparas Jakucionis was viewed as a top 10 pick by many entering the NBA Draft process this offseason. However, come draft night, the Illinois guard found himself sliding out of the lottery as a whole before the Miami Heat finally put an end to the madness by selecting him with the No. 21 overall pick.
There was no denying that Jakucionis was a work in progress entering the league, but his potential allowed many to be high on him. Despite that, against the Cavs, the big Lithuanian managed to play 25 minutes while barely impacting the matchup, which alone is enough to land him on this list.

7) Koby Brea vs. Kings
Stat Line: 2 PTS, 3 REB (1/9 FG, 0/4 3PT)
Koby Brea was viewed as one of the best shooters in this entire draft class. The Kentucky product showed flashes of that throughout Summer League play, but his streakiness as a shooter could be the difference between cracking the rotation for the main roster as a rookie and spending most of his first season in the G-League.
Ending this matchup against the Sacramento Kings with only two points, while shooting an abysmal 1/9 from field goal range, is enough to make fans of the Phoenix Suns and Brea want to forget this performance as a whole.
8) Dalton Knecht vs. Clippers
Stat Line: 8 PTS, 7 REB, 2 AST (3/15 FG, 1/8 3PT)
Dalton Knecht was one of the most dominant scorers in college basketball during his final season at Tennessee. In Summer League last year, the Los Angeles Lakers guard looked like a steal for the team after sliding to Rob Pelinka and JJ Redick at No. 17 overall. However, after a mid-season trade was rescinded, seemingly making his fit with the Lakers a bit awkward, the oversized guard has struggled to lock back in.
Carrying the inconsistent play into the offseason for the Lakers, this shooting performance for a player most known for his ability to be an explosive scorer lands him on the list of worst performances.
9) Patrick Baldwin Jr. vs. Lakers
Stat Line: 10 PTS, 7 REB, 1 AST (4/17 FG, 2/11 3PT)
Patrick Baldwin Jr. was selected in the back half of the 2022 NBA Draft. Since then, the forward has bounced around the league, struggling to prove why scouts were high on him coming out of college.
It's hard for him to find a role on any team with meaningless performances in Summer League. When he's showing nothing but inefficient minutes on offense and lackluster defensive efforts, including this game against the Lakers, it's tough to carve out a spot.
