Warriors vs Kings Wednesday Prediction | NBA Picks Today, Best Bets

The Golden State Warriors are set for a Wednesday night showdown against the Sacramento Kings. Golden State enters this in-state rivalry game looking to bounce back after a 40-point loss to the Boston Celtics on Monday. Meanwhile, the Kings have seemingly found a winning recipe with a 9-1 record in their last ten games. As both teams continue their pursuit of a playoff spot, this game has the makings to be a dogfight.
Warriors vs Kings
- Location: Golden 1 Center (Sacramento, California) | Date: Wednesday, Jan. 22
- Where to Watch: ESPN | Time: 10:00 PM ET
- Spread: Kings -7, Moneyline: Kings -295, Total: 230
Warriors vs Kings Best Bet: Kings -7
The Kings have been on a roll since the team let go of former head coach Mike Brown after an inconsistent start to the season. Whether Brown’s departure gave the players a wake-up call or interim head coach Doug Christie’s emergence is what led Sacramento to figure their issues out, the hype around the Kings continues to build. Sacramento has looked like a top team in the league over the last few weeks, and against the team that knocked them out of the postseason in Game 7 two years ago, expect the core group of the Kings to take this matchup personally. Give me Sacramento by double digits.
Warriors vs Kings Best Total Bet: Over 230
Both squads have dealt with inconsistencies throughout the season, but that doesn’t diminish their firepower. The Kings enter this game with a clean injury report, which should give them a boost with their top players on the court. And for the Warriors, as long as Stephen Curry is on the court, they can explode offensively. A final score of 122-111 seems like a realistic outcome.
Warriors Best Player Bet: Stephen Curry 30+ Points +190
Curry has been one of the lone reliable options for the Warriors this season. Averaging 22.9 points per game at 36 years old shows how talented the Davidson product is. Against a high-powered Kings team, Steve Kerr and the Warriors know that they’ll have to rely on their star guard if they hope to steal a win on the road, just as they did the whole playoff series against Sacramento in 2023. I’ll take the odds on a big night from the sharpshooter.
Kings Best Player Bet: Domantas Sabonis 20+ Points +110
Domantas Sabonis may be one of the most overlooked stars in the league. The forward is a monster on the boards, a more than able-scorer, and an underrated passer. Averaging 20.8 points, 14.2 rebounds, and 6.3 assists per game while shooting 60.5% from field goal range is a feat not many big men in the NBA can accomplish. Considering Sabonis has scored 20+ points in six of the Kings’ last seven games, I’ll take the odds for the former Gonzaga star to do it again on Wednesday.
