Atlantic 10 Tournament Best Bet: George Mason (+1800)
The Patriots have both the predictive metrics and the results over the top contenders to be a formidable foe in this tournament. Something we commonly like to do to find a team's form is to sort Bart Torvik's T-Rank from the beginning of February to eliminate noise from earlier in the season. George Mason has been the third-best team in the league over that span, only 15 spots away from league-leading Loyola Chicago.
They have beaten Dayton and Richmond in the past three weeks, and they've been doing it recently without star forward Keyshawn Hall. He is expected to be back in time to play in Brooklyn, which could provide a further boost. Take the swing with the Patriots to steal this bid in a wide-open field.

Atlantic 10 League Overview
You want a league that feels like it's anybody's best guess heading into the conference tournament? Look no further than the Atlantic 10, where the FanDuel Sportsbook has nine teams priced at +1800 or shorter to cut down the nets on Sunday afternoon. The Dayton Flyers are the strong favorites, but they have shown some vulnerability over the past two months by failing to win the regular-season crown. It's difficult to parse through a league of 15 teams, so we're here to give you an overview of a few squads to watch out for down in Brooklyn.

Atlantic 10 Tournament Favorite: Dayton (+170)
After starting the season 16-2, there was discussion that Dayton was in contention for a protected seed in the NCAA Tournament. The Flyers have cooled off a bit since dropping four games at the backend of January and ultimately missing out on sharing the regular-season title with Loyola Chicago and Richmond.
They are still the class of the conference, and that can be heavily attributed to the presence of All-American forward DaRon Holmes II. The big man sits third in KenPom's National Player of the Year rankings and has a gravity on the court that few others possess.
Atlantic 10 Tournament Challenger: Richmond (+600)
What a job Chris Mooney has done to get the Spiders in a prime position to be a bid thief heading into Brooklyn. Richmond took home its first-ever share of the Atlantic 10 regular-season title this season thanks to a group loaded with experience. Led by likely First-Team All-Conference selection Jordan King, a fifth-year senior shooting 43 percent from deep, capable of pouring in 30 against any opponent. Five seniors fill the starting lineup, giving them an average of over three years of Division I experience per player, good for 13th in the nation.
This is a top-30 defense nationally and a group that turns the ball over at the second-lowest rate in the country. It's been proven all season long that the Spiders will not beat themselves, and it will take an impressive performance to knock them out of the bracket.

Atlantic 10 Tournament Dark Horse: Loyola Chicago (+700)
The 'Blers have picked a pretty convenient time to be playing their best basketball of the season. They have lost just once since late January and logged a statement win over Dayton at home to start March. Braden Norris has emerged as a leader for this team, hitting four triples while dishing out 11 assists in their victory over the Flyers. He feels like the X factor for how far this team can go.
We're also confident that head coach Drew Valentine has figured something out with this defense. Loyola Chicago now possesses a top-25 D in the country and the best in the conference, something that could travel well. Their depth, experience, and defense have flustered A10 foes for the past six weeks. Let's see if they can keep it up in Brooklyn this week.
