Week 16 - Navy Midshipmen 24 - Army Black Knights 14
Decidedly, Week 16's contest between these teams will feel like a home game for the Midshipmen. With a raucous crowd at its back, we expect Navy to deal another blow to Army in the follow-up tilt.
The final game of the regular season takes place at Northwest Stadium, less than 24 miles from their usual stomping grounds. While both branches will be represented, Navy's faithful should lift their squad to victory.
A sterling 12-1 record might be enough to warrant Navy's inclusion in the College Football Playoff.

Week 9 - Notre Dame Fighting Irish 15 - Navy Midshipmen 13
Everyone knows what the Navy Midshipmen will throw at them. Still, no one can stop them.
Navy will finally meet its match in Week 9, needing to get past a Notre Dame Fighting Irish that can't afford another slip-up. Possession will reign supreme in this one, with both teams prioritizing control and clock management to keep their opponent off the field.
A last-minute field goal gives Notre Dame the win, ending Navy's unbeaten streak at six.

Week 10 - Navy Midshipmen 49 - Rice Owls 7
The Midshipmen bounce back with a decisive win over a conference foe in Week 10.
Fresh off the heartbreaking loss, Navy will have no problem cruising past one of the country's worst Group of Five teams, the Rice Owls. The Midshipmen pound the rock from start to finish, proving they are still in the College Football Playoff conversation.
Week 11 - Navy Midshipmen 31 - South Florida Bulls 13
The South Florida Bulls' defense doesn't perform well against the rush, putting them at a significant disadvantage in Week 11's AAC showdown against the Midshipmen.
Usually a stout defensive unit, the Bulls haven't lived up to their usual standard in 2024. South Florida gave up at least 25 points in five of its past six against worse teams than Navy. Expect the Midshipmen to unleash their vaunted rushing attack, keeping the Bulls' mediocre offense off the field.
USF is running out of winnable contests to salvage a bowl game, and the Bulls won't be able to pull off the upset win at home in this one.
Week 12 - Tulane Green Wave 24 - Navy Midshipmen 27
Week 12's showdown against the Tulane Green Wave will be closer than many anticipate. Tulane remains a force in the Group of Five and possesses the offensive firepower to hang with Navy.
The Green Wave hung tight with the Kansas State Wildcats and Oklahoma Sooners earlier in the year; however, their undoing in both contests was their inability to contain the run. That flaw in Tulane's defense will be exposed in a road matchup against the best rushing team in the nation.
Tulane puts up a fight but ultimately comes up short in its bid for a berth in the AAC Championship Game.
Week 14 - Navy Midshipmen 35 - East Carolina Pirates 28
Navy can't afford to look past its Week 14 tilt versus the East Carolina Panthers. Presumably, with an AAC Championship Game berth already secured, the temptation will be to take their foot off the pedal. But East Carolina can make them regret taking this matchup too lightly.
In the end, we expect the Midshipmen to prevail. The Pirates' porous defense will be exposed, as yet another team will put up a crooked number against them.
Week 15 - Navy Midshipmen 17 - Army Black Knights 15
An entirely hypothetical matchup at this point, the Navy Midshipmen and Army Black Knights could face each other in two consecutive weeks. First, in the AAC Championship Game, then in their annual grudge match, the only game on the calendar in Week 16.
There is no love lost between these programs. For years, Navy claimed supremacy, but Army has turned the tide more recently. Winners of six of the past eight, the Black Knights have tilted the field in their direction more recently. Nevertheless, we give the nod to Navy bucking that trend with a hard-fought victory in 2024.
