Vanderbilt Commodores

I liked Vanderbilt's pushback in this contest. This is a team that's continued to perform above expectations this year. 

SEC Week 9 Grade: B+

Texas A&M Aggies

After a difficult first half, the Aggies made the necessary adjustments and took it to the Tigers in the second half. Mike Elko deserves a ton of praise. 

SEC Week 9 Grade: A-

LSU Tigers

It looked like the LSU Tigers had the Aggies on the ropes in the first half. Wrong. The Tigers let this one slip away, and it could cost them down the line. 

SEC Week 9 Grade: C+

Alabama Crimson Tide

It was a strong showing from the Alabama Crimson Tide in Week 9. This is exactly the type of showing that Alabama needed. 

SEC Week 9 Grade: A

Missouri Tigers

It's been a very difficult season to this point for the Missouri Tigers. When you factor in the expectations for this group, it's hard not to be disappointed.

Ole Miss Rebels

It was far from perfect, but the Ole Miss Rebels did what they needed to in Week 9 and picked up a double-digit win over Oklahoma. 

SEC Week 9 Grade: B

Oklahoma Sooners

The Oklahoma Sooners stayed in this SEC clash much longer than most expected they would. That's got to be worth at least something.

Arkansas Razorbacks

There are a few things the Razorbacks can clean up defensively, but the offense bounced back nicely in Week 9. The Razorbacks continue to lurk in the SEC.

Mississippi State Bulldogs

There are still some signs this program is headed in the right direction. Still, it's clear there's still a long way to go after giving up nearly 60 to Arkansas.

Auburn Tigers

The Auburn Tigers went into Kentucky and picked up a convincing win over the Wildcats. Color me impressed.

Kentucky Wildcats

There continue to be some real struggles for the Kentucky Wildcats on offense. Those reared their ugly head in Week 9 against the Auburn Tigers.
