4. Penn State Nittany Lions
If you get mad at me for ranking Penn State last, I won't blame you. The Nittany Lions have shown up for a large portion of the year, especially in the CFP. Still, this is the biggest test to date in the bracket for James Franklin and company, which could prove difficult to overcome. I really like what I've seen from Drew Allar this season, and think he has the tools to be a pro at the next level. The Nittany Lions have the bodies on defense to make life difficult on Notre Dame, but a lot of that also depends on the status of Abdul Carter. Regardless, it's hard to say it's been anything but a successful campaign for Penn State. A win in the semifinals would be the icing on the cake.
