7. South Carolina Gamecocks

When you consider where we had the Gamecocks ranked beginning the year, this has been a majorly successful campaign. The Gamecocks have a case to be made that they can jump Alabama and Ole Miss with their current resume. That doesn't appear like it will happen, but it was a great year for the Gamecocks regardless.
