It's Notre Dame and it's Pittsburgh today, Joe, mounting their way, securing a playoff spot when this network, and I say this network, I mean me. I told you Notre Dame was gonna be in the college football playoffs and today they're 12.5 point favorites over Pitt. Can Norduzi come up and slap me around left and right, Joe. Make me look stupid. I don't think so. I don't think so. I'm hoping I look at it. I look so tired. That's 30 pounds heavier right now. Look at me. You look fantastic. Hey, I did you justice with that. What do you want growth hormone there? You look phenomenal. I got the ring on too. You got one on. No, no pinky. I'll wear the pinky ring next week. All right, right. Hopefully Pitt will win. Now, I will give you your props. Notre Dame lost two straight right to Miami and A&M. They've ripped off 7 straight wins by an average margin of victory of 26.1 points per game. CJ Carr with the passing attack has taken over. Uh, Price and Love are two of the best running backs potentially all in college football when you just look at their ability, 23 rushing touchdowns combined. But you have a red hot pit team with their new. Quarterback Hensch, right? And, and they've won 5 straight by an average margin of victory of 19 points per game. They're averaging 39 points per game, have one of the best rush defenses in all of college football, holding opposing offenses to 82 yards per game, 2.5 yards per rush. They're gonna look to take away Price and love. It's got to be CJ Carr. I'll just say this, Donnie. This is the most pressure that CJ Carr has faced since week one when he went out as a, as a getting. His first start as a freshman and going up against the Hurricanes. There is no margin of error. Notre Dame loses this game as a 12.5 point favorite. They are out of the college football playoff. They are hanging their hat on the loss to Texas A&M and the fact that Miami is at least relevant, if they didn't have that, there's not one quality win on their resume right now. And by the way, it's so hard to sort of take the ACC serious at this point. Again, I'm a Miami Hurricanes fan. I just, I want to see them get in. I do, but Boy, when you say like, OK, 5 straight wins, which usually means something in college, you say 5 straight wins in the SEC, the Big 12, like, hey, you probably knocked off some pretty good teams. Look at the like BC, FSU, Syracuse, NC State, Stanford. But again, also Notre Dame, really. Boise State decent. NC State stop at USC overrated, BC, uh, Navy at that point. So when I look at this game going in, it's home field advantage for Pitt. Now granted, Notre Dame always has great traveling fan base at this point. Tell me something about Pitt and Noraduzi that could surprise. Again, they, they have the ability to shut down the rushing attack of Notre Dame defensively and be in this game. Again, Hensch in that offense, are averaging basically 320 passing yards per game. He's distributed the football much better than Eli Holstein did at the start of the year and they're putting up numbers. Every game that he has started, Donny, they have averaged basically 30 points per game. So playing at home, they're gonna push a little bit of tempo. And the way you have to beat Pittsburgh isn't running the football even though they might want to try and do that Notre Dame, they're gonna find out early enough that they have to attack the secondary. They're suspect Pittsburgh over the top. They've allowed a 237 passing yards per game. It's got to be CJ Carr. It has to be those wide receivers to step up, Pauling phase on to really take the pressure off a car. And then on top of that, that can open up the rushing attack later in the matchup. We'll The how this game plays out because Pitt playing at home. Yeah, the game technically doesn't count because it's an out of conference game, but they still could be an at-large team if they win out. They need to win this game, Pittsburgh. I like them with the points in like Pittsburgh, and like I said, it hasn't played anybody. Like Florida State, you know, technically being ranked to start the season. They have a 33, point victory over them. Syracuse, NC State, Stanford, Louisville, decent win there, 34 to 26cuse me, decent loss, I should say, 34 to 27. But then Louisville gets beat last night. But you're right about this. The final 3 games show you knock off Notre Dame, top 10 team. You knock off Georgia Tech, top 15 team. You knock off Miami, top 15 team. You're in the college football playoff and they might technically not might be in for the ACC championship. So that's why no doozy comes out. He makes these comments, which is understandable. But why are you making them if you get blown out now? Do you still need to win this game and be ramped up because there's no guarantee. Uh potentially right now if Virginia wins, they're a shoo-in for potentially one of those spots. You still have SMU alive, you still have Georgia Tech alive. There's the opportunity where if they win out, they still might be on the outside looking in and then they're in at large with potentially, let's say Texas or Oklahoma with two losses.
