5. Terrion Arnold - Alabama Crimson Tide
The one remaining option and true curveball would be a defensive player that could anchor their secondary. Alabama Crimson Tide defensive back Terrion Arnold is considered the best corner in this draft and has the ball skills teams covet. Arnold is not the tallest corner but has plus length and the speed to cover even the most dangerous vertical threats. Arnold tested well at the NFL Combine and cemented his status as the top corner. He’ll get picked in the top ten and if Arizona isn’t enamored with the options on offense or the trade offers, they might grab the best player at a high-demand position.
1. Marvin Harrison Jr. - Ohio State Buckeyes
The Arizona Cardinals currently have the No. 4 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft and will listen to trade offers from teams looking to move up if one of the top three quarterbacks remains available. That is unlikely. Given the Cardinals already have six picks in the first three rounds, Arizona making the selection is the favored outcome and Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. seems like the top option. Kyler Murray needs a major target and Harrison Jr. is considered the best wide receiver prospect in years. He did not participate in the NFL Combine or the Ohio State “pro day” but what else was there for Harrison Jr. to prove? Adding the former Buckeyes star alongside emerging tight end star Trey McBride would instantly upgrade the offense.

2. Malik Nabers - LSU Tigers
If the Cardinals are concerned about Harrison Jr. not working out, skipping the NFL Combine, or if they have been wowed by the elite speed and the explosiveness personified by Malik Nabers, the former LSU Tiger could be a surprise pick. Nabers is a bit younger than Harrison Jr. and seems like the closest thing to Tyreek Hill to enter the NFL. Harrison Jr. is the safer option but there is a chance Nabers ends up being the more impactful weapon due to his top-end speed.
3. Joe Alt - Notre Dame Fighting Irish
The Cardinals could shock everyone and avoid the wide receiver position altogether. If they did, the door opens for a variety of possibilities. Arizona could use a starting tackle and they’d have their pick of the two best: Joe Alt and Olu Fashanu. Former Notre Dame Fighting Irish mauler Alt is the perfect left tackle specimen. He is 6’9,” weighs an athletic 321 pounds, and tested incredibly at the NFL Combine. Alt has terrific footwork, sustained blocks well in college, and used his length well to hold off opposing pass-rushers. He would start immediately at left tackle and the Cardinals could grab a wide receiver with one of their other early picks.
4. Olumuyiwa Fashanu - Penn State Nittany Lions
The other tackle option would be Penn State’s Olu Fashanu. The 21-year-old would be a plug-and-play solution at left tackle as he has an NFL-ready body and already understands how to play the position without extra development time. He’s a good, but not great, run blocker and would excel blocking for the mobile Kyler Murray thanks to his athleticism. Fashanu has reported bench presses of 405 pounds, 605 pounds on squats, and 350 pounds on power cleans.
