64. Kansas City Chiefs – Andru Phillips (DB)
The Kansas City Chiefs have some holes to fill, particularly with their depth in the secondary. Andru Phillips is a talented prospect out of Kentucky who fits the bill here in Round 2.
1. Chicago Bears via Carolina Panthers - Caleb Williams (QB)
The Chicago Bears are highly anticipated to start the 2024 NFL Draft by picking Caleb Williams. The approach of building a top-tier defense while managing a quarterback on a rookie contract is often seen as a crucial strategy for success in the current NFL, and it seems the Bears are poised to embrace this method.
2. Washington Commanders - Jayden Daniels (QB)
Recent shifts seem to indicate Jayden Daniels as the likely choice for the Washington Commanders. Although there are other QBs in the running, Daniels' extensive skill set has clearly garnered the interest of the Commanders.
3. New England Patriots - Drake Maye (QB)
If Caleb Williams and Jayden Daniels are taken as the first two picks in the 2024 NFL Draft, it appears unlikely that the New England Patriots would pass up the opportunity to draft Drake Maye, but never say never. As the Patriots look for a new franchise quarterback, the rumors of Maye's declining draft stock have not lessened the excitement about him potentially being New England’s choice at the third overall selection.
4. Arizona Cardinals - Marvin Harrison Jr. (WR)
Considering their significant investment in Kyler Murray, it would be logical for the Arizona Cardinals to consider selecting a top-tier wide receiver such as Marvin Harrison Jr. Enhancing their offensive arsenal appears to be a particularly fitting choice among the different strategies available to them. The remaining question is whether they will consider trading down to gather more draft picks from a team seeking a quarterback.
5. Los Angeles Chargers - Malik Nabers (WR)
With plenty of salary cap issues, the Los Angeles Chargers had to reshape their wide receiver room this offseason. It's within the realm of possibility that the Chargers trade down and still select a wideout, but Malik Nabers might be difficult to pass up.
6. New York Giants - J.J. McCarthy (QB)
With the increasing hype around Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy in the lead-up to the 2024 NFL Draft, it seems improbable that he will drop out of the top ten picks, potentially even the top five. Although the New York Giants have several other roster gaps, there is speculation that they might choose a quarterback in this position. If they are genuinely keen on McCarthy, selecting him could become a reality unless another team trades up and snatches him first.
7. Tennessee Titans - Joe Alt (OL)
The Tennessee Titans should have their focus on protecting their young quarterback, particularly after acquiring Calvin Ridley via free agency. If Joe Alt is still on the board when the Titans are up to draft, it seems unlikely that they would overlook him.
8. Atlanta Falcons - Dallas Turner (EDGE)
Under the leadership of new head coach Raheem Morris and with a roster brimming with offensive skill, the Atlanta Falcons are turning their attention to strengthening their defense. Selecting Dallas Turner from Alabama with their top ten draft pick would greatly improve their pass rush, marking a strategic move for the Falcons.
9. Chicago Bears - Olu Fashanu (OL)
Holding two top-10 picks, the Chicago Bears are well-positioned to bolster their offensive line, especially with the likely selection of Caleb Williams as their first pick. Olu Fashanu emerges as an excellent choice to address this requirement. Additionally, the Bears' offseason acquisition of wide receiver Keenan Allen suggests potential intent to fortify their offensive line.
10. New York Jets - Rome Odunze (WR)
The New York Jets have made significant strides this offseason, successfully addressing key areas to boost their Super Bowl prospects in 2024. By drafting a top wide receiver in Rome Odunze, the Jets have filled yet another big gap.
11. Minnesota Vikings - Terrion Arnold (DB)
Determining whether the Vikings will trade up for a quarterback like J.J. McCarthy remains challenging. With the mounting excitement around him, it is expected that he will be selected early on. Although the Vikings have the draft assets to trade up, it remains unclear if they will opt to do so. For the moment, Terrion Arnold stands out as an excellent choice.
12. Denver Broncos - Jared Verse (DL)
There's certainly a real chance that the Denver Broncos opt to select a quarterback with this selection if one of the remaining options stands out. If they go a different way, Jared Verse is a great option.
13. Las Vegas Raiders - Michael Penix Jr. (QB)
Throughout the draft season, we've consistently projected a tackle to the Las Vegas Raiders. However, there's been increasing speculation about a possible pairing between the Raiders and quarterback Michael Penix Jr. Will this be the pick come Thursday?
14. New Orleans Saints - Brian Thomas Jr. (WR)
Following Michael Thomas's departure from the New Orleans Saints, the team is searching for a new standout wide receiver to pair with Chris Olave. Brian Thomas Jr. is a real candidate to fill this gap, adding an additional dynamic weapon to their passing attack.
15. Indianapolis Colts - Quinyon Mitchell (CB)
Last season, it became clear that the Indianapolis Colts needed to strengthen their secondary. Quinyon Mitchell is a smart candidate to help with this, addressing a critical area of need as they head into 2024.
16. Seattle Seahawks - Byron Murphy (DL)
There are certainly multiple ways the Seattle Seahawks can go with this selection. In Mike Macdonald's new defense, it's hard to argue that Byron Murphy wouldn't look tremendous as a big part of it.
17. Jacksonville Jaguars - Tyler Guyton (OL)
After a late-season collapse last year, the Jacksonville Jaguars have significant gaps to address on their roster. A top priority is protecting Trevor Lawrence in the pocket, and Tyler Guyton can be brought in to assist with this crucial task.
18. Cincinnati Bengals - Brock Bowers (TE)
The Cincinnati Bengals have been employing temporary solutions at tight end, but nothing has stuck to build around at the position. With Brock Bowers available later than expected, the Bengals have seized the opportunity to provide Joe Burrow with another premier target who is also a strong blocker.
19. Los Angeles Rams - Taliese Fuaga (OL)
Recognizing that Matthew Stafford likely has limited prime years left as a top-tier NFL quarterback is essential. To maximize these years, the Los Angeles Rams must focus on protecting him with a robust offensive line, and Taliese Fuaga is brought in to do precisely that.
20. Pittsburgh Steelers - JC Latham (OL)
The leadership of the Pittsburgh Steelers made a notable presence at Alabama's Pro Day, underscoring their commitment to strengthening their offensive line. JC Latham emerges as an ideal selection to meet this need.
21. Miami Dolphins - Troy Fautanu (OL)
For the Miami Dolphins, keeping Tua Tagovailoa healthy and on his feet continues to be a top priority. Troy Fautanu stands out as an attractive first-round pick for the Dolphins, directly catering to this critical need.
22. Philadelphia Eagles - Jordan Morgan (OL)
After Jason Kelce's retirement, the Philadelphia Eagles are focused on injecting their offensive line with new talent, despite recent extensions to key offensive players. Jordan Morgan is a strong selection to meet this new need in Philadelphia, taking on an essential role as a foundational piece to protect Jalen Hurts.
23. Minnesota Vikings (via Houston Texans via Cleveland Browns) - Laiatu Latu (EDGE)
The Minnesota Vikings' offense and defense display clear deficiencies. There are ongoing talks about leveraging their acquired first-round pick to move up in the draft order and pick a quarterback. However, without any firm plans, drafting Laiatu Latu to strengthen their defense appears to be a wise decision for the moment.
24. Dallas Cowboys - Graham Barton (OT)
With Tyron Smith's free agency departure, the Dallas Cowboys are on the lookout for extra support for their offensive line. Graham Barton stands out as the ideal candidate to fill this critical gap for the team.
25. Green Bay Packers - Cooper DeJean (CB)
The Green Bay Packers are openly seeking fresh talent to develop in their secondary. Cooper DeJean presents an excellent foundational piece that they can now build around.
26. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Chop Robinson (DE)
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers require additional support on the edge, and Chop Robinson provides exactly that. Robinson performed impressively at the NFL Scouting Combine and will enhance the Buccaneers' pass rush capabilities.
27. Arizona Cardinals (via Houston Texans) - Darius Robinson (DL)
The Arizona Cardinals are well-known for having numerous roster needs. Having focused on the offensive side earlier in the first round, they now choose to bolster their defense by selecting the very skilled option of Darius Robinson from Missouri.
28. Buffalo Bills - Ladd McConkey (WR)
Following the trade of Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans, the Buffalo Bills appear poised to select a wide receiver early in the 2024 NFL Draft. Ladd McConkey emerges as an ideal addition to enhance their offensive arsenal.
29. Detroit Lions - Kool-Aid McKinstry (CB)
Even though an injury prevented Kool-Aid McKinstry from participating in combine testing, his significant talent is still clear. As the Detroit Lions look to improve their secondary, McKinstry emerges as an excellent pick for their late first-round selection.
30. Baltimore Ravens - Adonai Mitchell (WR)
Enhancing Lamar Jackson's array of offensive weapons could significantly benefit the Baltimore Ravens. Adding a dynamic player like Adonai Mitchell provides a vital edge as they target a Super Bowl appearance. Following his impressive performance at the NFL Scouting Combine, Mitchell's stock has substantially increased.
31. San Francisco 49ers - Nate Wiggins (CB)
If Nate Wiggins is available at this point in the first round, the San Francisco 49ers would be wise to snatch him up. Wiggins could step right in and help solidify the 49ers' secondary.
32. Kansas City Chiefs - Troy Franklin (WR)
The Kansas City Chiefs' wide receiver group faces significant uncertainties next year, and Troy Franklin addresses some of those concerns. Patrick Mahomes is excited to have another high-quality target added to his arsenal.
33. Carolina Panthers – Xavier Legette (WR)
After selecting a new franchise quarterback last year, the Panthers are in need of adding more talent to their wide receiver room. Depending on who you talk to, Xavier Legette is the top name available here.
34. New England Patriots – Keon Coleman (WR)
After drafting a new franchise quarterback, the Patriots need to surround him with fresh talent that can make a difference. Although his NFL Combine testing didn't pop, Keon Coleman is still a real playmaker.
35. Arizona Cardinals – Amarius Mims (OL)
With the Cardinals looking to bolster their offense around Kyler Murray, they need to protect him, and Amarius Mims brings a strong element of that to the table in the second round.
36. Washington Commanders – Ennis Rakestraw Jr. (DB)
The Commanders need help in their secondary, and Ennis Rakestraw Jr. provides many of the elements that this team has been lacking of late, specifically in the physicality department.
37. Los Angeles Chargers – Kris Jenkins (DL)
There are some real questions about how Jim Harbaugh will impact the Los Angeles Chargers 2024 NFL Draft class. Kris Jenkins can immediately make a difference on the defensive line, and it doesn't hurt that Harbaugh coached him at Michigan.
38. Tennessee Titans – Edgerrin Cooper (LB)
After adding the top offensive line prospect in this draft class, the Tennessee Titans shift gears and add a falling defender with plenty of value in Edgerrin Cooper.
39. Carolina Panthers via NYG – Payton Wilson (LB)
Despite not having a first round pick, the Carolina Panthers continue to make strong value picks in the second round by adding a talented prospect in Payton Wilson.
40. Washington Commanders via CHI – Jackson Powers-Johnson (OL)
There was real chatter about Jackson Powers-Johnson being a potential first-round pick. However, with him still sitting here in the second, the Washington Commanders are happy to select the Oregon product.
41. Green Bay Packers via NYJ – Maason Smith (DL)
The talent that Maason Smith brings to the table is undeniable. This is the definition of a home run swing, and if it connects for the Packers, they've got one heck of a building block.
42. Houston Texans via MIN – Braden Fiske (DL)
Braden Fiske was a key contributor on defense for the Florida State Seminoles and his talent is right on the border of the first round. The Texans add another defender to their young core.
43. Atlanta Falcons – Kamari Lassiter (DB)
There's real value in the Atlanta Falcons continuing to fill holes on their roster as they head into a season where expectations are high. Kamari Lassiter knows all about that from his time at Georgia.
44. Las Vegas Raiders – Blake Fisher (OL)
It's hard to say at what point in the 2024 NFL Draft we'll see a run on tackles. Blake Fisher looks the part of a prospect that can step in right away and have a long NFL career.
45. New Orleans Saints via DEN – Mike Sainristil (DB)
After adding a talented wide receiver in Round 1, the New Orleans Saints turn their attention toward some holes in their secondary and add a strong prospect in Mike Sainristil.
46. Indianapolis Colts – Xavier Worthy (WR)
His size is still a question mark, but there's no denying the speed and talent that Xavier Worthy possesses. The Colts addressed a dire need in their secondary in Round 1, and add a deep threat for Anthony Richardson in Round 2.
47. New York Giants via SEA – Patrick Paul (OL)
The New York Giants are trying to reshape their offense. Whichever quarterback suits up for the team in 2024, adding a dynamic wideout in Round 1 and bolstering the offensive line in Round 2 signifies positive change.
48. Jacksonville Jaguars – Ruke Orhorhoro (DL)
There were real concerns on both sides of the football for the Jacksonville Jaguars to close out last season. Adding Ruke Orhorhoro helps fill a hole in the trenches for the Jaguars.
49. Cincinnati Bengals – Javon Bullard (DB)
Javon Bullard played a key role for the Georgia Bulldogs during their back-to-back National Championships. Bullard can step right in for the Bengals and help lead their secondary moving forward.
50. Philadelphia Eagles via NO – Ricky Pearsall (WR)
It's hardly a secret that this wide receiver class is very deep. Former Florida Gator Ricky Pearsall might have a first-round grade on some draft boards, yet the Eagles are able to swipe him up in the second round. Talk about a rich class.
51. Pittsburgh Steelers – Malachi Corley (WR)
After opting to bolster their offensive line in Round 1, the Pittsburgh Steelers address another hole on their roster by selecting talented wide receiver Malachi Corley.
52. Los Angeles Rams – Zach Frazier (OL)
Some talent evaluators believe Zach Frazier will be selected in Round 1. Others tend to believe he'll be around in the middle of Round 2. The Rams scoop him up and don't look back.
53. Philadelphia Eagles – T.J. Tampa (DB)
There were multiple reasons for the Philadelphia Eagles late season collapse, including their secondary. T.J. Tampa can step right in out of Iowa State and be a difference maker.
54. Cleveland Browns – Chris Braswell (LB)
Chris Braswell brings plenty of pro-style traits to the table. The former standout linebacker out of Alabama gives the Cleveland Browns another piece on their already talented defense.
55. Miami Dolphins – Kiran Amegadjie (OL)
Even after bolstering their offensive line in Round 1, the Miami Dolphins continue with that trend in Round 2 and select Kiran Amegadjie. Protecting Tua Tagovailoa remains the priority.
56. Dallas Cowboys – Roman Wilson (WR)
The run on talented wide receivers in the 2024 NFL Draft continues with the Dallas Cowboys. CeeDee Lamb remains the prominent target in Dallas, but Roman Wilson gives them another viable threat.
57. Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Jeremiah Trotter Jr. (LB)
Jeremiah Trotter Jr. is one of the top linebacker prospects in the 2024 NFL Draft. The former Clemson Tiger helps solidify another important piece for the Buccaneers defense.
58. Green Bay Packers – Tyler Nubin (DB)
Going into the offseason, the Green Bay Packers secondary needed an upgrade. After free agency and this incoming draft class, it'll no longer be considered a weakness for Green Bay.
59. Houston Texans – Max Melton (DB)
The Houston Texans are building this team correctly on both sides of the football. They continue on that trajectory by selecting a strong defensive back in Max Melton.
60. Buffalo Bills – Adisa Isaac (DE)
After addressing the elephant in the room during Round 1 of the 2024 NFL Draft, the Buffalo Bills improve their defense by selecting Adisa Isaac late in the second round.
61. Detroit Lions – Ja'Lynn Polk (WR)
There's still some uncertainty surrounding the overall depth of the Detroit Lions wide receiver room. Ja'Lynn Polk is a strong wideout prospect out of Washington, and has the ball skills needed to help a Lions team looking to win.
62. Baltimore Ravens – Austin Booker (DL)
The Baltimore Ravens continue bolstering their roster in the trenches with the addition of Austin Booker to their defensive line. The Ravens tinkering around the edges helps this core continue rolling. Can they get over the hump?
63. San Francisco 49ers – Jermaine Burton (WR)
Until the smoke leaves, there are some questions about how the San Francisco 49ers wide receiver room will look in 2024. Jermaine Burton gives them some certainty at the position in Round 2.
