New York Jets 2024 NFL Draft Picks
Currently, the Jets own seven picks in the 2024 NFL Draft, including the tenth overall pick, the third time in franchise history they had that selection. New York drafted WR Al Toon (1985) and Garrett Wilson (2022) the first two times, which could be an omen of things to come.
The Jets do not have a second-round pick. The No. 41 pick was shipped to Green Bay as part of the Rodgers trade. They added a fourth-round pick from Baltimore as part of the Morgan Moses trade. The teams swapped fourth-rounders (NY sent Denver’s pick acquired for DE Jacob Martin) and a compensatory sixth-round choice. New York’s fifth-rounder also went to the Broncos in that deal, while their seventh-round pick was sent to the Ravens for safety Chuck Clark.

New York Jets Outlook
NEW YORK JETS OFFENSE RANKINGS
No. 31 Overall, No. 29 Scoring, No. 30 Passing, No. 21 Rushing
Once Aaron Rodgers went down with his season-ending Achilles injury, New York’s offense went into a tailspin. The lack of foresight to bring in a proven backup burned the Jets, as they were forced to turn back to failed No. 2 overall pick Zach Wilson. Poor play and critical injuries along the offensive line further derailed the offense’s chances. The two bright spots were second-year players, wide receiver Garrett Wilson and running back Breece Hall, potential superstars.

NEW YORK JETS DEFENSE RANKINGS
No. 3 Overall, No. 12 Scoring, No. 2 Passing, No. 25 Rushing
New York’s defense was outstanding last season despite an offense that left them on the field too long and often set the opposing team up with excellent field position. Following Robert Saleh’s pedigree from his days with the San Francisco 49ers, they used a deep rotation of defensive linemen to get after the quarterback. CB Sauce Gardner, DT Quinnen Williams, DE Jermaine Johnson, and LB Quincy Williams are an elite core entering their prime.
