7 Anytime Touchdown Bets You Need to Place for NFL Week 5

DK Metcalf (+140)
We were a DK Metcalf touchdown last week away from clean sweeping our Monday Night Football doubleheader touchdown bets, and we had multiple prime opportunities to get that, most notably being his awkward tumble where his knee landed on the one-yard line, absolutely crushing us. We’re not ready to stray away from him this week, as he’s priced at +140 to find the endzone on Sunday against the Giants, who have no one in their secondary capable of stopping him. CeeDee Lamb tore them up last week, so we’ll look to Metcalf to do the same, as he’s riding a streak of three straight games with at least 100 receiving yards heading into Sunday.

Josh Allen (+110)
Josh Allen only has one game with a rushing touchdown this season, but we’re not giving up on him. He made us a ton of money with his legs in 2023, so it’s only a matter of time before he does so again in 2024. Knowing how Allen operates, he uses his legs the most when the Bills are in a close game since he always feels like he has to put his team on his back or his legs. In Week 1, when the Bills were in a tight game with the Cardinals, Allen ran for two touchdowns, but in the three weeks since, he didn’t feel the desperation since they were all blowouts. On Sunday, I can’t see this Texans-Bills matchup being low-scoring or a blowout. I love the +110 price I’m getting on Allen to cross the goal line. Plus, most importantly, he’s due.
Nico Collins (+110)
Nico Collins quietly leads the NFL in receiving yards, and he’s averaged just about 12 targets per game across the past three weeks. He’s scored a touchdown in two of the last three weeks, being a threat to find the endzone every time he touches the ball. At +110, I expect this game to be very high-scoring, and with Collins surely to see double-digit targets, I’ll confidently bet on him to find the endzone.
Ja'Marr Chase (+120)
After a rough two games to start the season, Ja’Marr Chase has combined for 203 yards and three touchdowns across the last three games. The Bengals game on Sunday against the Ravens will be another one of the high-scoring Ravens-Bengals bouts we’ve seen for the past few seasons, and I’m getting a +120 price on Chase to find the endzone. You can’t beat that! Sometimes, it’s easiest to trust the great players to do great things.
DJ Moore (+185)
The Bears’ looked the best they have had all season in their Week 4 win against the Rams, and while that isn’t saying much if you look at the box score, it’s something for Caleb Williams to build off of. They’ll be playing the Panthers on Sunday, who just allowed 34 points to the Bengals in Week 4 and haven’t played good defense all season. DJ Moore scored his first touchdown of the season last week, but he still leads all Bears’ pass catches in receptions, targets, and yards. At +185, I’ll gladly back Moore here, who also is playing against his old team. Who doesn’t love a revenge spot?
Jayden Daniels (+125)
I officially anoint Jayden Daniels as one of “our guys” as he again cashed for us in Week 4 with a rushing touchdown. The Commanders’ offense is on a roll, and Daniels has rushed for four touchdowns this season, doing so in three of four games. At +120, we’ll ride Daniels until the wheels fall off!
Dontayvion Wicks (+150)
I need some touchdown action on the Packers this week as I’m relatively confident they’ll score at least four offensive touchdowns against the Rams, and I don’t want to lay the juice on our guy Jayden Reed at -120. Instead, we’ll look to Dontayvion Wicks, who emerged as this team’s WR2 at +150 for a lot more value as he’s coming off a 13-target game last week where he caught two touchdowns. At +150, I’ll take the value for him to do it again!
