The Cincinnati Bengals need to win out and get some help to make the playoffs. Luckily for the Bengals, they’ll be taking on a Denver team sitting in the final AFC playoff spot but have yet to clinch. The Broncos clinch a playoff berth on Saturday if they defeat the Bengals or tie. The Bengals have had no issues scoring points this season. The problem in Cincinnati is that they’ve also had no issues giving up points. That complicates things against a Denver squad that’s been much more consistent this year. Even though the Bengals have better weapons and talent on offense, the Broncos have shown us much more defense and supply the confidence we’re looking for here. I won’t say the Bengals fail to come out on top here, but I’ll also happily take the three points in what I expect to be a tight game with a lot on the line.

Broncos vs Bengals Best Bet Total: UNDER 49.5 (-108)
It’s not as though the Denver Broncos are an offensive juggernaut, but the Cincinnati Bengals’ defense can make middling offenses look good. That’s been the downfall of the Bengals this year, and it could be the final nail in their coffin on Saturday. With the high stakes of this matchup on both sides, I wouldn’t be surprised to see a run-heavy, more conservative approach. There will be a feeling-out process in the first half, and I’m not expecting these respective coaching staffs to take many risks. I think it’s warranted that the bar is set just under 50 for this matchup, but I also think the number is slightly high when you factor in the importance of this game. Although it was against the lowly Browns, Cincinnati did show up defensively last week, and they’ve also gone under the number in two of their previous three games.
