Buccaneers vs. Falcons
Location: Mercedes-Benz Stadium (Atlanta, Georgia) | Time: 8:15 PM ET | Where to Watch: Amazon Prime Video
Spread: Falcons -1.5, Moneyline: Falcons -130, Total: 43.5
Buccaneers vs. Falcons Best Bet: Buccaneers ML +110
The Bucs enter this matchup as an underdog despite how explosive the offense has looked early in the season. Mayfield looks like one of the top quarterbacks in the league, and his connection with his receivers continues to grow. In addition, the defense has slowed down top NFC Contenders in the Detroit Lions and the Philadelphia Eagles in the past couple of weeks. Tampa Bay gets it done in a hostile road environment to maintain their division lead.
Buccaneers vs. Falcons Best Total Bet: Over 43.5
Both offenses have shown the ability to compete at a high level. The Buccaneers averaged 24.3 points per contest while the Falcons have seemed to find a rhythm with newcomer Kirk Cousins under center. This game could be a dogfight that ends with a final score of 30-24.
Buccaneers Best Player Bet: Chris Godwin Any Time Touchdown +170
Chris Godwin was moved back to a primary slot receiver this season under new offensive coordinator Liam Coen. The Penn State product put up his best numbers in the slot position in the past and so far, it looks like a brilliant move for the team’s offense. Godwin is up to 322 receiving yards and three touchdowns so far. Tonight, the shifty wideout could be in line to add to his season totals.
Falcons Best Player Bet: Bijan Robinson First Touchdown Scorer +470
Bijan Robinson has been a focal point of Atlanta’s offense to start the season, but the running back has yet to have the monster game everyone expects of him. Fortunately for the Falcons, the Bucs defense has allowed 131.5 rush yards per game this season. Expect ATL to test Tampa Bay’s defense early with a healthy mix of passing and rushes. Ultimately, it seems like a good matchup for Robinson to take off and put his team on the board first.
