Commanders vs Eagles Best Bet ATS: Eagles 2nd Half Spread -1.5 (-110)
As dominant as the Eagles have been in recent weeks, most of their dominance has come in the second half. Last week, they led the Dallas Cowboys 14-6 at halftime, then outscored them 20-0 in the second half. Three weeks ago, they were tied 10-10 with the Cincinnati Bengals at halftime, then outscored them 27-7 the rest of the way. This team takes time to warm up, but there is no slowing down once they get in a groove. On a short week, I can see them starting slow but picking up the pace as the game progresses. Looking at the overall spread, I don’t want to lay -3.5 on the Eagles, so I’ll look for them to win the second half.
Commanders vs Eagles Best Total Bet: Eagles Team Total OVER 26.5 (-110)
The Eagles have surpassed the 26.5-point mark in four straight weeks, and I just watched Russell Wilson lead the Pittsburgh Steelers to 28 points against the Commanders last week. If he can do it, I bet the Eagles will do the same.
Commanders Top Prop: Jayden Daniels UNDER 43.5 Rushing Yards (-110)
The Eagles defense has been elite for the past month, largely due to great tackling and strong linebacker play. Tonight, they’ll have a strong approach to limiting Jayden Daniels’s legs, who has fallen short of this number in two straight weeks. Plus, with the return of Brian Robinson Jr. to the backfield alongside, Daniels shouldn’t feel the pressure to make plays with his legs.
Eagles Top Prop: AJ Brown OVER 80.5 Receiving Yards (-110)
AJ Brown owns the Commanders, and last season, we saw him combine for 17 catches, 305 yards, and four touchdowns across two matchups with them. Marshon Lattimore won’t make his Washington debut tonight, leaving the same personnel in the secondary that Brown torched last year. Brown has beaten his 80.5 number in five of six games this season, so we’ll bet him to go over it with confidence.
