Pittsburgh Steelers Needs

The Pittsburgh Steelers had the worst blocking in the NFL from a starting center in 2023. That's a problem, and they've already made it an area to address after cutting Mason Cole. There's a lot of chatter about Kenny Pickett and whether or not he's a starting quarterback in this league, but improved play on the offensive line, specifically in the interior, will only help his growth. Whether the Steelers target a center with their first-round pick or not, we'd be surprised if they leave the draft without using one of their top two picks on one.

Speed and youth are two areas that the Steelers need to address in their secondary. Joey Porter Jr. had a solid rookie year, and the Steelers need to add to that in the 2024 NFL Draft. It's unknown if Patrick Peterson will return or be cut, but he showed his age during his first season with the Steelers. Pittsburgh needs to get younger and more athletic in the secondary to return to being one of the NFL's top defensive units. Utilizing an early selection on the secondary will go a long way for this team.
