The Denver Broncos have been an intriguing team to follow this preseason. With the early success we've seen from newly appointed rookie starting quarterback Bo Nix, the Broncos might be a team that's not as easy of a matchup as many first expected. Nix has a lot of pro traits to his game that make him a quarterback who can fit into a Sean Payton offense. There's already some pieces that are easy to like on the Broncos defense. If they get some surprising breakouts on offense, this team could slide over this number relatively easily.

Kansas City Chiefs

Kansas City Chiefs Regular Season Wins 2024-25

Over 11.5 (-112), Under 11.5 (-108) 

The Kansas City Chiefs are again in a familiar spot as AFC West and Super Bowl favorites. At times, the Chiefs have looked kind of bored during the regular season, making it somewhat difficult to trust them to win at least 12 games in 2024. Patrick Mahomes is trying to lead a team to history with three straight Super Bowl wins in a row. Even though a bye in the postseason would be nice with plenty of rejuvenated weapons on offense, the Chiefs proved last year that they can still run through the AFC on the road with less than 12 wins. 

Best Bet: Under 11.5 Wins (-108)

Los Angeles Chargers

Los Angeles Chargers Regular Season Wins 2024-25

Over 8.5 (-144), Under 8.5 (+118) 

How will the Los Angeles Chargers look under new head coach Jim Harbaugh? For one thing, you can expect this staff to want to play bully football in the trenches. The Chargers will try to pound the rock at a high clip, even with talented signal-caller Justin Herbert leading the charge. We've been waiting for a head coach to unlock the potential of this Chargers roster, and Harbaugh is a good bet to do that. We've already seen Harbaugh's coaching style succeed with a talented roster in San Francisco. Even with different circumstances, it's not exactly that difficult to expect a nine-win campaign from this group.

Las Vegas Raiders

Las Vegas Raiders Regular Season Wins 2024-25

The big question we'll be looking to answer with the Las Vegas Raiders is whether the end of last year was a blip under Antonio Pierce or if it was for real. The defense looks like it might be a problem for the rest of the AFC, but the offense leaves a lot to be desired. Pierce named veteran Gardner Minshew II as their starting quarterback, and although that might have benefits in fantasy football, it's hard to envision it translating to many wins. We did see Minshew find moderate success with the Indianapolis Colts last year, so it's not out of the realm of possibility. We're very bullish on the Raiders' defense under Pierce, which makes us not afraid of the juice on the number for the over. 

Best Bet: Over 6.5 Wins (-142)
